Program Design
First Semester A.Y 2022-2023
I. Rationale
Christmas is the most awaited season of the year - a season filled with joy,
hope, peace, and love. It is a season of praise and thanksgiving for the incarnation
our God, Jesus Christ. We celebrate this with our unfathomable love and gratitude
to our God who loves us, is with us and for us, all the time.
With this, The Assumption College of Nabunturan wants to continue the

legacy of conducting “Paskuhan sa Assumption” in every month of December. It
is now considered as the tradition of assumptionists as a way of celebrating
Christmas Season. Moreover, “Paskuhan sa Assumption” is an initiated activity of
the ACSSG years ago, which aims to celebrate the season of Christmas and
commemorate the love of Jesus Christ for us. This year, the new administration of
Assumption College Supreme Student Government wants to continue this legacy
for the academic year with a title “Paskuhan sa Assumption 2022” an event that
composes various activities that will surely envelope the system of assumptionists
with love, gratitude, and joy among their hearts and spirit. Thus, this event is
designed with the theme “Paskuhan sa Assumption: Pamilya Tayo – Ikaw at
Ako sama-sama ngayong Pasko.”
This event will be accompanied with various activities such as Giant

Christmas Tree Design through using recyclable materials, Christmas Chorale
Competition, Christmas Poster Making, Christmas Dance Competition, and Mr.
and Ms. Assumptaclaus – a creative Santa Claus creation that will embrace the
concept of Santa Claus using recyclable materials and will be presented through a
runway. These are the activities that will be implemented throughout the event.
This kind of event is a good way to highlight the true essence of Christmas by
showcasing the God-given talents of every assumptionist.
II. Objectives of the Activity

The main purpose of this event is to provide meaningful and enjoyable
Christmas celebration to all the members of ACN community. Furthermore, below
are the following goals of implementing this event:
a. Demonstrate students’ understanding of Christmas through various

activities.
b. Showcase the talents of the assumptionists through different activities.
c. Inculcate the true essence of Christmas in the heart of every assumptionist.
d. Provide a sense of Unity and Camaraderie amongst the ACN community.
e. Spread love, joy, and peace among the students, faculty, and staff of ACN.
III. Date and Time

The Opening Program of the Paskuhan of Assumption 2022 as well as the
Lighting of the Giant Christmas trees will be held at the Assumption College of
Nabunturan Ground on December 1, 2022, from 6:00 P.M to 6:30 P.M.
Whereas, the Closing Program of the Paskuhan sa Assumption 2022 will
be held at the Assumption College of Nabunturan Gymnasium on December
10, 2022, from 5:00 P.M to 7:00 P.M.
The building of Giant Christmas Tree will start on November 3, 2022, to
November 23, 2022, as well as the practice of the various contests.
IV. Participants
The participants of the Paskuhan sa Assumption 2022 are the resident students
at Assumption College of Nabunturan for Academic Year 2022-2023.

Note: Starting from December 1 to December 10, the Giant Christmas Tree will be lighted
from 6:00 PM to 8:30PM in the evening.
VI. Person’s Involved
The person’s involved in this activity are the Office of Student Affairs and
Welfare, ACSSG officers, Department Officers, Maintenance Team, Judges,
Artist Guild Club, and The Plight.
VII. Financial Requirements
The funds to be used in this activity will be handled by the ACSSG Fund.
However, they will have their cash request to the Student Development Fund for
the prices and other awards for the contests. Also, the student council will not
spend money for lights and stage extensions, they will request it to the Local
Government Unit of Nabunturan or in the Sangguniang Kabataan of Poblacion
Nabunturan.
Moreover, the expenses that will be used such as the materials for building the
Giant Christmas tree and for the other contests will be handled by each
Department. However, the student council will encourage all the departments to
keep their expenses minimize as possible.
VIII. Budget Flow

Along with this activity, there will be contests intended for the participants to
serve as their reward in extending their time and effort and their participation. Below
is the budget flow for the Paskuhan sa Assumption 2022 to be requested in the

As a show of appreciation for extending their time and effort and judging, the seven
resource persons to judge in every contest will receive a stipend of 1,000 pesos with a token
and certificate. The Student Development Fund will be used to fund this fund.
