ICT POWER OF 3, OHLC/OHLC

This is one of the most important concepts as an ICT

trader if you aren't utilizing this in your personal trading
i strongly advise you to consider learning and adding it
to your arsenal

Chapter 1 - The Essentials

In this thread, I will be covering and giving you

a comprehensive guide on OHLC/OLHC, Power of 3

I will be covering essential knowledge you need to

know and I will build upon it in future threads with one
secret concept even the more experienced ICT traders
don't know...
OHLC / OLHC , Power of 3 is fractal meaning we can
find it on each and every timeframe

The most important as a daytrader is without a doubt

the Daily OHLC.

OHLC stands for Open High Low Close

OLHC stands for Open Low High Close

The daily candle on your tradingview charts opens at

5pm Ny Time but as ICT traders we know the true day
open starts at 12am // Midnight New York

OHLC

As previously mentioned OHLC stands for

Open High Low Close

Open High Low Close is basically a bearish daily

candle.

This essentially means if we are bearish and

expecting a bearish day the candle will be OHLC.
OLHC

As previously mentioned OLHC stands for

Open Low High Close

Open Low High Close is basically a bullish daily

candle.

This essentially means if we are bullish and expecting

a bullish day the candle will be OLHC.
In OHLC we expect to create the High of the day
above Midnight open.

In OLHC we expect to create the low of the day below

Midnight open.

We need to determine whether the day is going to be

OHLC or OLHC an up candle or a down candle once
we have the weekly profile down the next day is
obvious.
In an ideal scenario for OHLC we want to sell/short
above the opening price

In an ideal scenario for OLHC we want to buy/long

below the opening price
