PERFORMANCE TASK IN READING AND WRITING SKILLS

Performance Standard
 The learner produces each type of academic writing and professional correspondence following the
properties of well-written texts and process approach to writing.

ALL SECTION HUMSS

GOAL: To produce an academic writing and professional correspondence through an application letter and
resume with an interview following the properties of a well-written text.

ROLE: You task is to look for a position that best match your skill and qualification in the Local Government
Unit of Ibajay. (Job order)

AUDIENCE: Target audience will be the HR manager of the government unit.


SITUATION: As a fresh graduate in your chosen course, you decided to give back in the community by
serving in your Local Government Unit. You will craft your own application letter address to our Municipal
Mayor stating your intent with your qualifications written in your resume.
PRODUCT: You will create a well-written text with the process approach to writing through application letter
and resume.
STANDARDS Your output will be rated according to the following criteria content and speech delivery (refer to
the rubric below). The job interview will be conducted on May 7-8, 2024 in their respective classroom.
Students are required to wear formal attire during the job interview conducted by RAWS Teachers

(accounting staff, clerk, bookkeeper etc).

AUDIENCE: Target audience will be the HR manager of the Private Company.


SITUATION: As a fresh graduate in your chosen course, you decided to look for a job that best fit your current
qualification to gain experience. You will craft your own application letter address to the HR Manager of the
Private Company (Philip Andrew S. Samonte) stating your intent with your qualifications written in your
resume.
PRODUCT: You will create a well-written text with the process approach to writing through application letter
and resume.
