Colors of the rainbow, shining so high,


In the big, blue, and sunny sky.
Red, orange, yellow, and green,
The prettiest rainbow I've ever seen.

Ask the pupils:

Have you seen a rainbow? What are the colors of the rainbow? What is your favorite color
in a rainbow, and why?
If you could add a new color to the rainbow, what would it be and what would it
represent?

Dedicated Reading 60 minutes a. Set the rules before reading.

 Why did the colors in the story start to quarrel?
 What did Green mention about its importance, and where can you see it in nature?
 According to Blue, what is essential for life, and where is it found?
 What did Yellow say it brings to the world, and can you name some yellow things
mentioned in the story?
 What did Orange say about its color and how it helps people?
 How did Purple talk about itself, and who are the important figures that like
purple?
 What did Indigo mention about its color and why is it important for balance?
 What stopped the colors from arguing in the story?
 What advice did Rain give to the colors, and what did it suggest they should do?
 What did Rain promise to do with the colors, and what does the rainbow mean
according to Rain?
c)Let the students read the story silently in pairs.
