Congratulations and very warm greetings! Welcome to the new academic session 2023-24. I
express my gratitude for your sincere cooperation and support in the smooth and successful
completion of the Session 2022-23.

The academic session 2023-24 has begun in full swing with a lot of enthusiasm and zeal. The
beginning of a new session is a time for new hopes and dreams. It is the time to begin with new
energy and fresh vibes. The performance of the students in both home and board examination
has been par excellence. I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate all the students,
parents and teachers for the stupendous performance in both Academics & Co-Scholastics
pursuits during the Session 2022-23. We want each of our students to grow, thrive, question and
learn. Our goal is to create self-sufficient, independent citizens with a passion for learning and
respect for self and others. We rededicate ourselves to a student-centric programme that
promotes academic excellence through an enriched, rigorous and inter-disciplinary curriculum
and highly qualified and experienced staff. Together we will strive to reach the fullest potential
of our children.

1. The school will close for Summer Vacation as follows:

Classes Summer Break
Nursery - UKG : 15.05.2023 – 02.07.2023
I – VII, IX & XI : 20.05.2023 – 02.07.2023
VIII, IX & XII : 29.05.2023 – 26.06.2023
Extra Classes for the students of Classes VIII, X & XII will be held from 22.05.2023 –
27.05.2023. the timings for the same will be 7:30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m.

School Reopens on 3rd July 2023 (Monday) for Classes Nursery – VII, IX & XI.
2. To remain connected with the students and to engage them productively, the students are
being given Skill Based Activities & Assignments to be performed and done during the
Summer Vacation. We thereby endeavor to keep the students creatively and constructively
engaged. So, encourage your ward to use the vacation in a judicious manner and explore
novel ways of learning.
3. The school is organizing a Summer Camp from 22nd May 2023 to 26th May 2023 for the
students of classes I to VII & IX to unleash their hidden talent. The details of the activities
have been shared with the students.
The Summer Camp for the students of Classes Nursery – UKG is being held from 16.05.2023
– 26.05.2023.
Timings for the camp will be from 7:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Buses will ply accordingly.

4. Selection Test for students of Class-VIII, X & XII will be conducted from 27th June, 2023.
Date-Sheet for the same has been uploaded on the school website
www.dav14faridabad.ac.in. Please ensure that your ward uses his/her time wisely to
prepare for the exams during the vacation.

5. All the students admitted to Class-XI in April 2023, whether from this school or other
schools, must submit a photocopy of their CBSE Digilocker Marksheet in the office of
Ms. Rajni Ralhan-Supervisory Head, to regularize their admission. They must mention the
stream opted for in Class-XI, Admission No. and the section allotted to them.

6. The School Office will remain open throughout the vacation. The timings will be:

22.05.2023(Monday) to 27.05.2023 (Saturday) : 7:10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

29.05.2023(Monday) to 26.06.2023 (Monday) : 8:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
27.06.2023 (Tuesday) onwards : 7:10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

7. You are requested to clear the fee dues for the first quarter, if not paid.

8. Please make sure that your mobile number given to the School Office is correct to avoid any
inconvenience in availing SMS facility provided by the school/when we need to contact you.

9. In case there is change in Residential Address, kindly submit an application alongwith

Address proof (School Admin Office, Room No. 103) to update the same in school records.
10. PTM / Orientation Programme for the parents for the students of Classes VI-XII will be
held on 20.05.2023 from 8:00 a.m. – 11: 00 a.m. Roll No. wise slots will be given to the
students, kindly adhere to the same for the smooth conduct of the Orientation
Programme in the respective Classrooms.
11. In order to ensure smooth traffic movement outside the School, the following traffic plan
will be followed by all the vehicles w.e.f. 19.05.2023.

Entry : Gate No. 1 (7:15 a.m. – 8:15 a.m.)

Exit : Gate No. 2 (1:15 p.m. – 2:45 p.m.)

Please note that NO RIGHT TURN / U-TURN will be allowed towards the Main Building of the
School.
