I. Introduction

a. Brief History of the Business – David, Yumi

Ice cream sandwiches have a long history in the business world, dating back to
the late 1800s. The idea is thought to have started in the 1890s with street vendors in
New York City. In these early iterations, two thin wafer- or biscuit-like layers held ice
cream between them. Selecta is a well-known ice cream brand in the Philippines that
also offers ice cream sandwiches that have various flavors such as vanilla and
chocolate. In addition, Selecta has continued to innovate, introducing new flavors and
variations while maintaining its popularity among Filipino consumers. Due to the intense
heat in our community, the PERA (Persistent, Entrepreneur, Rationale, Associates)
group decided to create Creamwich, a homemade ice cream sandwich with a variety of
toppings and flavors that cools our bodies and brings back memories of our childhood
when we used to buy these items from local street vendors.

b. Proposed Name of the Business and Its Logo – Portes, Kathreen

The researchers decided to name the product as CreamWich because the

researchers combined the name of their main ingredients: Cream comes from ice cream;
Wich comes from a bun of bread.

c. Description of the Business – Mercado, Julius

According to The Economic Times, business can be described as an

organization or enterprising entity that engages in professional, commercial, or industrial
activities. There can be different types of businesses depending on various factors.
Some are for-profit, while some are non-profit. Similarly, their ownership also makes
them different from each other. It also refers to an enterprising entity or organization that
carries out professional activities. They can be commercial, industrial, or others. For
profit business entities do business to earn a profit, while non-profit ones do it for a
charitable mission.

Creamwich operates as a partnership business, where two or more parties have

a formal arrangement to manage and run the business, sharing both profits and
liabilities. This partnership structure involves equal sharing of profits and liabilities
among all partners, although some partnerships may have limited liability for certain
partners. Our delicious Creamwich is strategically and carefully chosen its location on
Villarica Road, Prenza 1 Marilao, Bulacan, with a convenient presence outside Prenza
National High School, to meet the changing needs of its wide-ranging customers.
Creamwich is an Innovated version of an ice cream sandwich, which contains different
flavors and you can add different toppings and flavors.

III. Environmental Analysis

a. Trends in the Industry – Borja, Camillus

Given the current hot weather trends, our team has come up with a plan to
satisfy people's cravings by introducing a unique twist on the popular ice cream
sandwich concept, a treat that is somewhat uncommon in our local area. Recognizing
the growing demand for refreshing and indulgent delights during warm days, we're
making a delicious ice cream sandwich that everyone will enjoy. Our innovation involves
incorporating flavors that capture the essence of the local palate, ensuring that our ice
cream sandwiches become a go-to option for individuals seeking a delightful and cooling
treat in the heat. The idea is not just to offer the traditional ice cream sandwich, we also

aim to provide a delicious and distinctive ice cream sandwich experience that resonates
with the preferences of our community.

b. Market Target – Villanueva, Niezel

The Target Market for the product would students aged 13-18 from both genders.
This is because the target or the required location is inside the school, they will
automatically be the present and initial consumers or buyers of the product. The
proposed product will also likely fit the taste of the students as majority of young
individuals prefer sweets more than sour, salty or any other types of taste.
