4. Jess has worked for a fast-food chain for the past five years since leaving college and has
always performed to a very good standard in her Customer Service Assistant role.
However, over the past two months, the Store Manager (Aman) has noticed
that Jess appears demotivated and unhappy, which has led to her continually
underperforming. Jess has also had a couple of sick days, which is very
unusual, and on top of this, a couple of regular customers have also
commented on the change in Jessica’s attitude at work.

Aman is worried and wants to get Jess back to her vibrant, energetic self,
performing at a high standard. Therefore, he has asked you to identify three
methods of non-financial motivation which you believe could be effective to
motivate Jess, making clear comparisons between each method. Once you
have done this, he has asked you to place them in a rank order (1 to 3) in
relation to which method you believe would be most effective with justification.
