MATERIALS AND TOOLS: 1

1. Sport yarn (50g/160m):

White (YarnArt Jeans 62)
Pink (YarnArt Jeans 20 or 36)
2. Black and white thread to embroider the face
3. Safety eyes 14 or 16 mm
4. Crochet hook 2.00 mm
5. Stuffing (Polyester fiber fill)

If you use these materials, the finished toy is around 20-22 cm tall
without the ears.

There are no crochet instructions included in the pattern.

It's assumed that you're familiar with the basic crochet stitches.

The difficulty level of the pattern is medium.

I use US terminology in this pattern.

ABBREVIATIONS:

ARMS: 2

Crochet with the white yarn.

Stuff only 3/4 of the arm.

17. Make sure that the 3 dec in round 7

are exactly under the position of your
hook. If not - crochet 1-2 sc more. Flatten
the arm and crochet 6 sc through both
sides.

Fasten off and cut the yarn, leaving a long

tail for sewing.

Sew the hands to the sides of the body in

rounds 21-22. They should point slightly
forward.
LEGS: 3

Start crocheting with the pink yarn.

Stuff as you go.

1. 8 sc into a magic ring (8)

Change the yarn to white color.

10. For the left leg: Crochet only 15 sc and

left leg stop there.
Fasten off and cut the yarn, leaving a tail
for sewing.

Don’t cut the yarn, we will continue with
the body:

Continue crocheting with the white yarn.

Stuff as you go.

1. Crochet 7 sc more on the right leg and

attach the yarn to the left leg where you
stopped crocheting.
Crochet 24 sc on the left leg and 24 sc on
the right leg, place the marker here (48)
(The marker should be on the back)

If there is a hole between the legs, take

the thread that is left from the left leg and
sew the gap.

need), so that the marker is in the middle of

Make sure that the 12 sc are in the
middle of the face, if not - correct the
stitches and the marker's position.

Insert the safety eyes into the marked

points.
HEAD: 6

Make sure that the head is stuffed firmly,

especially in the lower part.

Close the opening and hide the yarn

inside.
HEAD SCULPTING: 7

Mark the points 1-6 with pins, as it’s

shown in the photo. Points 1 and 2 are in
the middle of round 1 of the head.
Insert a long threaded needle into point
1 and pull it out at point 3. Then insert
into point 4 and pull out at point 2 in the
bottom of the head.
Now insert the needle through point 1
and pull it out at point 5. Insert it into
point 6 and pull out at point 2.
The thread should be under the eyes.
Pull the thread ends tight until the
desired indentation is reached and tie a
knot. Hide the thread inside the head.
MUZZLE AND EMBROIDERING: 8

Crochet with the white yarn.

Don’t stuff or stuff lightly.

1. 6 sc into a magic ring (6)

2. 6 inc (12)
3. (sc, inc)*6 (18)
4. sl st, 3 inc, 10 sc, 3 inc, sl st (24)

Fasten off and cut the yarn, leaving a

long tail for sewing.

Sew the muzzle in rounds 7-13.

For the mouth make chain 4 or 5. Sew it

right under the muzzle. You can
embroider the inside of the mouth with
some dark or pink thread.

With a black thread embroider the

vertical line on the muzzle pulling the
thread to make the muzzle separation
more visible.

With the same thread embroider the

eyebrows in round 19. They are 2
stitches long and with 11 st between
them.

Using a pink yarn thread embroider the

nose between rounds 2 and 3 of the
muzzle. Or you can glue a plastic nose.

You can embroider the eyes with black

and white thread.
Color the cheeks with a pink blush.
EMBROIDERING: 9
EARS: 10

For each ear crochet two pieces - one

with pink inside and one only in white.

Two front pieces:

Start crocheting with the pink yarn.

Crochet in spiral rounds.

Make chain 8 and crochet on it starting in

the second loop from the hook:

1. 2 sc, 2 hdc, 2 dc; make 6 dc in the last

stitch; now continue crocheting to the
other side of the chain: 2 dc, 2 hdc, 2 sc

Make a sl st to the side and change the

yarn to white color:

2. 6 sc, 6 inc, 6 sc, inc in the side (26)

3. 6 sc, (sc, inc)*6, 6 sc (30)

Stop crocheting here, fasten off and cut

the yarn.

Two back pieces:

Crochet the same way with the white

yarn only.

Don’t cut the white yarn.

EARS: 11

Take a front and a back piece and place

them together with the front piece facing
you. Crochet 30 sc through both pieces.

Fasten off and cut the yarn, leaving a tail

for sewing.

Sew the ears to the top of the head with

3-4 stitches between them.
TUMMY: 12

Crochet with the pink yarn.

Crochet in turning rows:

Make chain 4 and crochet on it, starting

at the second chain from the hook:

1. inc, sc, inc, chain 1, turn (5)

2. inc, 3 sc, inc, chain 1, turn (7)
3. inc, 5 sc, inc, chain 1, turn (9)
4. inc, 7 sc, inc, chain 1, turn (11)
5. inc, 9 sc, inc, chain 1, turn (13)
6-18. 13 sc, chain 1, turn (13 rounds)
19. dec, 9 sc, dec, chain 1, turn (11)
20. dec, 7 sc, dec, chain 1, turn (9)
21. dec, 5 sc, dec, chain 1, turn (7)
22. dec, 3 sc, dec, chain 1, turn (5)

Don’t cut the yarn. Continue crocheting

around the tummy to finish it:
upper side: 5 sc
left side: 22 sc
bottom: inc, sc, inc
right side: 22 sc

Make a sl st , fasten off and cut the yarn,

leaving a long tail for sewing.

Sew the tummy to the front of the body

as it’s shown un the photo.
TAIL: 13

Crochet with the white yarn.

Stuff lightly.

1. 8 sc into a magic ring (8)

2. 8 inc (16)
3. (sc, inc)*8 (24)
4-5. 24 sc (2 rounds)
6. (sc, dec)*8 (16)

Make a sl st, fasten off and cut the yarn,

leaving a tail for sewing.

Sew the tail to the middle of the back in

rounds 6-10.
