To Whom It May Concern:

It is my great pleasure to recommend Alexis Villaver in her desire to pursue higher education. I had the
privilege of being her Introduction to Health Careers teacher during the 2022-2023 school year and am
currently her Anatomy and Physiology teacher for the 2023-2024 school year. Alexis is a detail oriented
and intelligent student who consistently excels at all assignments and assessments. I enjoy having her in
my class, as there is no big task she can not tackle and conquer. She has an affinity for learning and
thrives when thinking critically to solve complex problems. Each time I call on Alexis to participate in
class, she is prepared with a response.

Alexis is a driven and brilliant student who has a passion for reaching her goals. She is determined to earn
a Bachelor of Science degree and then enter the medical field. She will be an incredible asset to the
medical community as she is responsible, disciplined, hard working, and ambitious. I have witnessed how
Alexis takes her studies seriously by getting to work as soon as she enters class. She is organized and has
her study routine down. She does not allow anything to distract her as she is focused on being the best
student, leader, and mentor she can be.

Moreover, something else that sets Alexis apart and makes her an excellent candidate for the health field
is her kindness and respect toward others. I admire that even though Alexis is a top performing student,
she does not give anyone the cold shoulder. Each time I pair her up with someone in class, she is able to
collaborate well with them. Her interactions with her peers are genuine and friendly. These traits will
allow Alexis to one day compassionately connect with her future patients and colleagues. In addition,
Alexis is preparing for her future career by being a part o the Patient Care CTE Pathway at El Capitan
High School and being admitted into the CNA program at Merced College.

Alexis is truly an extraordinary and inspiring young lady who puts forth outstanding effort in everything
she does. I am confident that with your generous contribution to her education she will not let you down.
She will represent her family, school, and community with the utmost honor. Without a doubt, I highly
recommend Alexis for any endeavor she chooses to pursue in her life as she possesses every skill to
succeed.

If you have any questions please do contact me at MCHernandez@muhsd.org and I would be happy to
discuss her character or past academic work. Thank you.

Sincerely,

Michelle C Hernandez
