Instructions: Based on the principles and steps taught about meal or menu planning, make a
shopping/market list based on the following information. Fill up the market list form provided below:

Team collaboration (5 points) = 30 points
Information:
The family decided to allot-500/day for breakfast, lunch, and dinner for a family of 3 adults. All are
working, and they usually eat their breakfast and dinner at home. They prefer to bring their lunch at
work to save money.
They often refer to “Pinggang Pinoy” to help them about portion size and amount of food they need to
consume for a day.
The family were able to list their favorite meals for one week. (Please refer to the table below)
The family preferred to cook a one dish meal to save time and money. The following are their favorites:
Chicken Tinola, Fish Sinigang and pork afritada. (Please see table below for other dishes planned by the
family).
STEP 5: PREPARE MARKET LIST (MONDAY ONLY). you may refer to the internet for the ingredients
list. Please consider their food budget (500 per day for 3 meals). You may suggest ingredient
substitutions to lower the cost/meal.
