I am writing to express my interest in securing to apply on the position of IFB Research and
Development Officer, at Awash Bank. I have recently graduated with a Bachelor's degree in
Accounting and Finance, with a GPA of 3.75. My passion for numbers and finance has driven
me to excel academically, and I am determined to make a positive impact in the field.
I have had the privilege of working as a lecturer at Rift Valley University and Harambee
University. These experiences provided me with the opportunity to interact with students
from diverse backgrounds, improve my communication, and hone my teaching skills.
Additionally, my time as a Digital Channel Officer and Relationship/Loan Officer, not only
this one but also I have provided Training on Digital and IFB product at Awash Bank has
enabled me to understand the intricacies of the banking sector, financial management, and
customer relations. I am also a certified Introduction to Islamic Finance trainer and a
Teaching of English as Foreign Language professional from Alison Galway, Ireland
University. These certifications enhanced my knowledge base and skills, enabling me to
provide holistic solutions to my clients.
Currently, I work with Cooperative Bank of Oromia as an IFB- Research and Development
expert, where I am responsible for identifying and exploring opportunities for the bank to
improve its services, products, and competitive positioning in the market. This role has
enabled me to apply my theoretical knowledge and decision-making skills in a practical
environment.
My dream is to continue to expand my knowledge and skills and make a significant impact
globally. I believe that your institution aligns with my academic and career aspirations. I am
