PROJECT PROPOSAL

Dancing- Foreign & Local Culminating Activity:


“Sayawan 2023”

I. Name of Event

Dancing- Foreign & Local Culminating Activity

II. Proposed Dates

April 17, 2023

III. Rationale
This will be served as a Midterm Examination for Dancing- Foreign & Local
to meet the performance standard requirements based on the Most Essential
Learning Competencies (MELC). The instructor will be in charge of this
activity together with the chosen representatives per section.

The learner leads dance sports events with proficiency and confidence
resulting in independent pursuit and in influencing others positively.

IV. Objectives of the Event

Objectives of the Event


The students will learn to:
A. Discuss the different dance and its origin .
B. Student will learn new dance choreography for their class dance.
C. Student will learn staging and placement for their class dance.
D. Student will learn new set of skill in dancing.
E. Enhance the confidence of student in performing.
F. Recognize one’s potencial in dancing field.
G. Continuously improve the student’s skills in

VI. Preparation/Implimentation Process


Flow of event:
1. Group Formation: Each section must have a representative atleast 1 or 2 groups consist of 10-15
student per group.

2. Each group must perform the designated dance assigned to them.

3. Student must showcase and execcute different kinds of steps in dancing.

4. Adjudicators will be evaluating their overall performance as a group.

5. Time limit:: Dance groups will be given 3 minutes minimum and 8 minutes maximum time
performance.

6. Safety; safety must be the top priority. The activity should be design with safety in mind. Extraneous
stunts is prohibited to avoid accident.

7. Participants must exhibit good team collaboration and sportmanship at all times. Cheating, sabotage,
and other unsportmanship behavior will not be tolerated.

8. Recognition: Giving appreciation to the Adjudicator. Awarding the Champion, 1st runner up, 2nd
runner up and 3rd runner up and other participant with Cerificate.
