GENERAL DESCRIPTION Get ready for 4 days of adrenaline fuelled activities! Pupils will have the
OF ACTIVITY opportunity to try out a whole range of fun filled activities – kayaking, laser
tag, crazy golf, trampolining and climbing walls. All abilities are welcome; this
is a chance to potentially try something new!

Day 4: Rock climbing; Games in the park
SPECIAL EQUIPMENT Day 1: Clothes and trainers that you are happy to get wet. A towel, showering

Days 2-4: Appropriate clothing for each activity off-site, with weather
appropriate gear (suncream and hats or waterproof coats).

MEAL ARRANGEMENTS A nut-free packed lunch every day will be needed every day except for Day 2,
where Pizza Hut pizzas will be provided at the Laser Tag location.

GENERAL A range of adventurous activities including kayaking, SUP, climbing, abseiling,

TITLE OF ACTIVITY Computing
COST (£) £110 PUPIL NO: 40
GENERAL Day 1: Visit Cadbury World factory and museum. Includes an educational talk,

IT. This is followed with a self-guided tour through the factory and museum.
Day 2: Indoor Bowling and Ninja Warrior UK. Lunch is also included during the
bowling session.
Day 3: Visiting Thorpe Park for a day of fun. Students get a chance to go on the
rides and explore the use of IT in running Thorpe Park.
Day 4: Students take part in Computing activities on-site. Playing computer
games and making ICT games.
SPECIAL EQUIPMENT Boys may wear their own clothes every day. Appropriate clothing for walking
AND CLOTHING with wet weather gear. Sun creams and hats for sunny weather.
Day 3 (Thorpe Park): Take dry clothes if planning to go on water rides. Weather
permitted, warm clothes and sun cream lotion for outside activities.

TITLE OF ACTIVITY MFL Days

GENERAL An excellent opportunity to explore the French language and culture.
DESCRIPTION Day 1: Film followed by lunch and bowling at All Star Lanes in Westfield

Day 3: Day trip to Boulogne-sur-Mer in France (with the aquarium and beach)
Day 4: Matinée performance of Les Misérables
SPECIAL EQUIPMENT Boys need clothing suitable for the activities and weather on each given day.
AND CLOTHING For France, it is advised that boys are prepared for all weathers, sunshine and
rain! Please bring raincoats, suncream, hats and enough water. Boys are also
welcome to bring anything they might wish to play on the beach (within reason).

MEAL Day 1 – lunch provided at the bowling venue as part of the day (any burger and

Day 3 - Breakfast, lunch, dinner, drinks, and snacks (all must be nut-free) required
for day trip to France. Alternatively, money can be provided for boys to buy food,
but they should bring something to sustain them in case we cannot purchase
anything. Expect a very long day!
Day 4 – matinée performance starts at 2:30pm so boys should have already eaten
lunch.

TITLE OF ACTIVITY QPR Coaching

GENERAL 4 Days of football coaching from QPR – Pupils will receive coaching for individual

TITLE OF ACTIVITY Rowing on the Thames with Fulham Reach Boat Club
COST (£) £150 PUPIL NO: 20
GENERAL This four-day rowing camp takes place at Fulham Reach Boat Club, next to
DESCRIPTION Hammersmith Bridge. Pupils will be taught how to row by qualified instructors,

culminating in rowing races on the Thames. Pupils who have rowed before can
progress at a quicker rate and progress into more advanced sessions with the
instructors. This activity can also be filmed by staff for GCSE PE NEA for pupils in
3PE and 4PE classes.

TITLE OF ACTIVITY Stop Motion Animation

GENERAL Pupils will plan and create a stop motion animation of a mathematical concept
DESCRIPTION they have explored this academic year. They will do so in an engaging and

engaging storyboards.
Day 1: Learning how to build a model at the Royal Air Force Museum. Pupils
will construct a wing of a plane.
Day 2: Learning how to create a cartoon strip at the cartoon museum and go to
the cinema to watch a film.
Day 3: Pupils will plan their stop motion animation in school.
Day 4: Pupils will film their stop motion animation in school. These will be
judged, and a winner will be crowned.
SPECIAL EQUIPMENT Day 3 and 4 require pupils to bring in smart phones.

TITLE OF ACTIVITY Theatre Days

GENERAL Working on a project to create a reinterpretation of a piece of theatre. As well as
DESCRIPTION this, we will be watching the live recording of the piece, working practically on

scenes in preparation for a performance at the end. There will also be a trip to
the theatre to watch something spectacular!
Day 1: Introduction to theatre skills and trip to watch a matinee.
Day 2: Watch full production of a play in school with nut-free snacks. Working
on scenes and casting the play.
Day 3: Working on the play in their allocated scenes.
Day 4: Rehearsal for a performance in the afternoon.

TITLE OF ACTIVITY Warhammer

GENERAL Over the 4 days pupils will build and paint Warhammer wargaming figurines.
DESCRIPTION They will write a short background for their armies and begin playing the game.

Day 1: Army design, initial painting (Base and First Coat of paint)
Day 2: Painting in the morning, Scenery Creation and Rules
Day 3: Finishing off painting, playing practice games, begin the tournament.
Day 4: Tournament for a grand prize.
