ANTENNA INSTALLATION
Antennas attach to the RF-7800M-MP as listed below:
• GPS Antenna (J2) - Sub-Miniature B (SMB) connector for internal Ground-Based
GPS Receiver
• SATCOM Antenna (J7) - Bayonet Neill-Concelman (BNC) connector, 225 to 350
MHz - Not Used
• Low Band Antenna (J5) - Threaded N-Connector (TNC), 30 to 512 MHz
• High Band Antenna (J8) - N connector, 225 to 2000 MHz, only activated with
waveform selection designed for this output port - such as Advanced Networking
Wideband Waveform (ANW2)
*Antenna has dual BNC female connectors for VHF (30-88 MHz) and VHF/UHF (108-512 MHz).
VAA connections are: VHF to J9 and VHF/UHF to J10.
**This optional (not part of either kit) High Band Antenna provides broad frequency range
coverage, but a reduction of receive signal strength may be experienced at some frequencies.
