Ethical Issues

Issue 1: Fair labor to all the staffs.

It is critical to ensure that all employees are paid fairly, receive benefits, and
have safe working conditions. This includes providing adequate training, equitable
compensation, and opportunities for advancement within the organization.

Issue 2: Transparent communication.

Maintaining open and honest communication with both employees and
customers promotes trust and integrity in the workplace. This includes being clear about
pricing, services, and any potential problems that may arise during the cleaning
process.

Issue 3: Friendly environment.

Promoting a positive and inclusive work environment where all employees
feel valued and respected is essential. This involves fostering a culture of teamwork,
collaboration, and mutual support, which ultimately enhances employee morale and
productivity.

6
Social Responsibility:
Comply with provincial business regulations and always be transparent about income sources.
Besides, cleaning services will always prioritize environmental protection.

Business Start-up Strategy:

We will create a business website so customers can easily choose the type of service they want.
Furthermore, they can also rate and give suggestions to make our service work better. We will
then run ads on social media platforms so that more people can access our model. During the
first half of the year, we will accept free cleaning jobs to learn and receive input from residents'
homes.

Sources of Capital:
Initial funding may come from personal savings, loans or invested by two or more business
partners.

Initial Financing:
Cleaning supplies, marketing expenses, and other required resources.

Other Sources:

During the first half year, we will not hire employees. Instead, all 4 people in the
group will work together to clean the customer's house to save costs and self-assess
the quality of service when directly contacting customers.

7
Business Success Factors:
Receiving many 5-star reviews and receiving a lot of trust from customers. From there, it can be
expanded to a larger model such as cleaning for companies. In particular, always put
professionalism and friendliness first for your business.

Form of Ownership:

Total Budget: $100,000 ($25,000 for each person)

Cleaning Equipment (Vacuum cleaners, mops, brooms, and cleaning solutions): $10,000

Vehicle: $15,000 (car)

Monthly Rent (for the first month): $1,500

Savings Account: $50,000

Remaining Budget:
100,000 − (10,000 + 15,000 + 1,500 + 50,000)

100,000 − 71,500 = 28,500

After allocating funds for cleaning equipment, a small car, and the first month's rent, we would
have $28,500 remaining in our budget. This remaining amount can be used for additional
operational expenses, marketing, staff salaries, or any unforeseen costs that may arise as we start
and grow our cleaning services business. Adjustments can be made based on specific needs and
priorities.
