Australia is a sovereign country of Oceania

The country occupies the main continental mass, in addition to some islands in the Pacific,
Indian and Antarctic oceans

The countries closest to Australia are Indonesia, East Timor and Papua New Guinea to the
north, the Solomon Islands, Vanuatu and the French dependency of New Caledonia to the
northeast, and New Zealand to the southeast

Australia is the sixth largest country in the world with an area of 7 741 220 km²

Flora and fauna


Most of the plants are woody including many species of eucalyptus and acacia. There is a great
variety of endemic species of legumes and fungi.

rodents, SQUIRRELS, Tasmanian wolf, KANGAROO, KOALAS, CROCODILE, DINGOS, ETC.
