Purpose of Industrial Visit
1. To have interaction with the students with actual industry personnel.
2. To make the students aware of the industrial procedures required to enter as an employee.
3. To experience the working environment in industry
4. To visualize all the important departments in the industry.
5. To prepare the students for their upcoming selection of a proper career path.

Report

 All Thirty three students of M. Sc. Chemistry Sem III (Organic Chemistry) and one research
scholar with faculties reached the Zydus Lifescience Ltd. Uni-II at 10.00 am. After completion
of the entry procedure at the main gate, Mr. Jignesh M. Gohil, HR Head API, welcomed us.
 After having a short refreshment, Mr. Dharmesh P. Hajariwala, Manager-HR API, gave a brief
introduction and description about the industry and their products.
 A detailed and session on GMP (Good Manufacturing Process) was taken by Mrs. Deepa
Manon, Dep. Manager- QA, API to the students and faculties via some Power Point
presentations and videos at the conference hall. The session was very excellent
and informative to understand how Good Manufacturing Process is carried out in industry.
 After a delicious lunch offered by Zydus Lifescience Ltd., all the students along with the
faculties under the guidance of Mr. Dharmesh P. Hajariwala and his technical team visited
different departments of company like all Production plant of API, Utility, Raw material and
packaging material warehousing area, dispensing area, Green room and ETP. He explained
information and the working process of all department during visit. Finally, Students were
given demonstration on Industrial Fire Safety practices if any fire accident happens what
steps should be taken.
 In last session, Mr. Jignesh M. Gohil, HR Head API, gave information and guidance about
what are the soft skills required for industrial job.
 Finally All students were given certificate of participation of one day workshop by Zydus
Lifescience Ltd.
 On behalf of Students and Department of chemistry, Dr. Sandip Joshi expressed gratitude to
Zydus for organizing such a wonderful one day work shop and giving opportunity to the
students to participate in that workshop. The visit ended with some group photographs. The
faculties and students left Zydus at 6.00 pm.
