In this lesson, we will learn how to screen for stock opportunities using TOS.

Scripts for Bullish/Bearish FS and UR/DR Types

1. FS-Bullish-PAM-TOS
2. FS-Bearish-PAM-TOS
3. DR-PAM-TOS
4. UR-PAM-TOS

As TOS does not have 2D time frame scanner option, we will only create Weekly time frame scan query
for each of the above scripts and hence in total we will have 4 scan queries to save.

RECAP and IMPORTANT NOTE

 For swing trading stocks, trader is advised to use 1 year 2D or 4 years 1 week time frame.

 For swing trading stocks using 4 years 1 week time frame, note that the buffer (entry and SL
distance) is much higher and hence it is up to the discretion of the trader whether to hold or
exit the trade before earnings. Strictly for 1 year 2D, all trades must be closed before earnings
announcement as the buffer (entry and SL distance) is lower.

Example today is 1st April 2021 and there is an earnings announcement due on 10th April 2021,
we only have around 10 days for the trade before earnings. Therefore, trader trading 1yr2D chart
is advised to skip the trade. Trader trading 4yrs1W chart can still consider taking the trade but
must be willing to accept the earning risk as well.

 As of this writing, thinkorswim has taken away the 2D option for scanner. Hence, for traders
looking at 2D chart, you are advised to still screen based on weekly frame and analyze them
in the 1 year 2D chart.
