Part A – Response [10 marks]:

You will watch a short video clip and respond to two given prompts. You may use the
template given below.

You have 25 minutes to watch the video, plan and write your response.

Part B – Delivery [5 marks]:

You will record your response using any online recording app e.g. Vocaroo. Upload your
audio recording (of duration 3 to 4 minutes) on Google Classroom.

Due date for Part B:

The marks for this Oral Communication Task will count towards your
EOY component.
Part A – Response [10 marks]:

You will watch a video which shows a bazaar in a neighborhood. Write a planned
response to the given prompts.
As you watch the video, think about how you will respond to the two prompts. You may
use the PEEL templates below to type your response.
You have 25 minutes for this task (including the time taken to watch the video).
Remember to TURN IN your response.

(a) Would you enjoy going to pop-up markets or festive bazaars like
the one shown in the video? Why or why not?

POINT I would not enjoy going to pop-up markets or festive bazaars like the one
shown in the video as they are usually extremely crowded.

i.e. State your stand Usually, these festive bazaars would sell everyday items such as clothes or

flock to them the moment they sprung up. As a result there would be mass
overcrowding and I, having claustrophobia find these places appalling. In

EXPLANATION One time a few years back, my parents took me to a holiday bazaar that

race to aquire all the cheap goods before they sold out. I, being a small
child at the time got separated from my parents. Fortunately for me, i was
