Goal: Provide competent, committed and responsible fishery professionals who are equipped with sufficient knowledge, skills and right attitude in the use of modern practices to Aquaculture
and Coastal Management.
Objectives:
1. Educate students in the field of fisheries who can contribute to the country’s need for sustainable fisheries and proper concepts of fisheries management, environmental management
and multi-sectoral approaches to coastal management.
2. Make students knowledgeable in statistical tools, computer use, social equity, extension service, economics and proper handling of fish to reduce losses.
3. Help students acquire knowledge and competencies in all aspects of fisheries such as aquaculture, capture fisheries, post-harvest fisheries and aquatic resources management and be
capable to do research.
