Wedding Planning Report

INTRODUCTION
A wedding planner is a professional who assists with the design,
planning and management of a client's wedding. Weddings are
significant events in people's lives and as such, couples are often
willing to spend considerable amount of money to ensure that their
weddings are well-organized. A wedding planner is important as at
the end of the day a wedding planner will eliminate a lot of
unnecessary stress so you truly enjoy your wedding day.

ON CONDUCTIONG A SURVEY -

On conducting the survey 55.5% of people belonged to 18-20 years

of age and the remaining 11.1% belonged to 16,17,21 and 42 age
group each .
On conducting the survey these responses are the results that we got
; 33.3% people voted Yes , 44.4% Voted No and the remaining 22.2%
opted for Maybe . This is because people have become skilled in
management and like to handle/ manage things by themselves or do
not belong to the age group to think about the same . To a lot of
people especially in a big family and elders find it difficult to trust
others outside family when it comes to the most important day in
everyones life and like to carry the responsibilties. However , today’s
youth is changing and bringing in change gradually . They like to rely
on the planners as they bring in creativity and help in reducing stress.
They become their go to people for both Pre – wedding and post
wedding and also during the wedding .
The survey shows that 55.6% people wish to have a private wedding
ceremony conducting and the remaining 44.4% wish to continue the
big fat Indian wedding festivity ritual .

As mentioned in the above Pie Chart 66.7% people want to plan only
3 events; 22.2% wants the planner to plan all the events and 11.1%
for just 2 events whereas 0 for just one .

We all have heard that wedding costs big sum of money but that also
comes under a certain budget that is planned out to keep a track on
the expenses and maintain a budget and get everything done within
it . For 88.9% the wedding planning budget is 6+ lakh and the
remaining 11.1% comes under the 10-40 lakh wedding budget .
The wedding planning market is constantly seeing rise its business .
55.6% people feel safe and secure and trust the planners , the other
33.3 % feel very safe and secure with handling planners the
responsibility of the biggest day of their lives . whereas the remaining
11.1% do not feel the same.

66.7 % people said that they have never worked with a wedding
planner before and 33.3 % have worked / coordinated with the
wedding planners before .
Wedding is one of the most important day in the life of the Groom
and the Bride so it is natural that they would want to be involved in
the minute preparations . 55.6% voted that they would like to be
extrememly involved and 44.4% voted for being partially involved
and let the planners to their magic .

Destination wedding has become the new trend . Evryone wants to

get married in front of a spectacular view and capture the most
stunning moments . 55.6% people voted for Yes and the other 44.4%
voted maybe .

The wedding market is expected to generate business worth Rs3. 75
lakh crore in this period. In the same period in 2021, 2.5 million
weddings generated a revenue of Rs3 lakh crore . Have seen a
whopping 60 to 80 percent increase in revenue in 2021-2022 and
conducted weddings even in off season .
