SCHOLARSHIP

Salesian College Sonada is offering scholarships by way of tuition fee waiver in several categories
for meritorious students and those from economically weaker sections to get ahead in life through
higher education.

A. Academic category
1) Students with 90 per cent aggregate marks and above will get 50% tuition fee waiver at admis-
sion time for the first semester.
2) Students with 85 per cent and above aggregate marks will get 25% tuition fee waiver at admis-
sion time for the first semester.

B. Sports: Students who represented the district at state / national games will get 25% tuition fee
waiver at admission time for the first semester, if they have 80% and above aggregate marks.

C. Media Skills: Students who have certified media skills and are able to contribute to Radio Sale-
sian or Salesian TV and have 80% and above aggregate marks will get 25% tuition fee waiver at ad-
mission time for the first semester.

D. BPLcategory students who secure 80% and above aggregate marks are eligible for 25%
tuition fee waiver at admission time for the first semester.

E. Differently abled: Differently abled or physically challenged students with 80% or above ag-
gregate marks will get 25% tuition fee waiver at the time of admission for the first semester.

NB: To avail of the scholarship:

1) A student should have scored the above marks at the time of admission.

2) The student has to apply for scholarship for the particular category with relevant docu-
ments
3) Only first five students in each category will be awarded scholarship in each depart-
ment
4) To continue to avail the scholarship a student will have to get the required marks for
each semester.
