Rig, hoist and move materials to and from workstation. Performs crane checks daily
prior to use to ensure the crane is in working condition, if applicable.

blueprint. Assemble and fit metal sections and plates using tack welding, bolting
or other methods. Set up and operate various equipment such as torches, drills,
various clamping tools, squares, disc grinders and other hand held tools.
Ensure safe work practices are adhered to and appropriate PPE is worn at all times.
• Mentors apprentices and junior fitters by sharing knowledge and safe work
practices.
