Badui Tribe

The Badui tribe in Banten Province, Indonesia, has maintained a unique way of
life for centuries. Living in isolation from the modern world, the Badui protect
their traditional customs and reject many aspects of modernization. Keeping
their simplicity and spirituality, they are divided into two distinct
communities: the Badui Dalam and the Badui Luar. They do not wear modern
clothing, just simple white or black garments, and live in traditional bamboo
homes without electricity or modern items. The Badui's lifestyle revolves
around farming and protecting their natural surroundings.
