NARRATIVE REPORT IN
BRIGADA ESKWELA SY 2022-2023

Brigada Eskwela is a yearly program of Department of Education that aims to bring

together all education stakeholders to participate and contribute their time, effort and
resources to prepare public schools facilities for the opening school year.

There are benefits that come with Brigada Eskwela, it saves resources on the part of
the school, it builds oneness and cooperation to all stakeholders were there camaraderie
among them develops, the learning of the students is ensured, the cleanliness of the facilities
becomes pleasing and the environment is safe for the learners.

Educators believe that environment plays a big part in students’ learning. And so if
classrooms are not conducive to learning because of poor condition and some defective
school facilities, education is hindered. In this program, the facilities were prepared through
cleaning, painting and gardening.

Teachers were advised to have skeletal workforce and were equally divided to report
to school to perform their duties and responsibilities. We had the enrollment proper,
established partnership with external and Local Government Units (LGUs), preparation and
making of instructional materials, contact our barangay officials and cleaned our areas.

In the morning of August 01, 2022 (day 1), Brigada Eskwela in San Nicolas
Elementary School was formally started led by our school head, Ma’am Shella Ann D.
Galindez. Brigada Eswela is spoused with unity, collaboration and love for our school and
students. We can still achieve our mission to produce quality education amidst the current
situation.
