AI CONSULTING
BUSINESS
(for free)

how to start your AI-powered
consulting business for absolutely
free (and in less than a weekend).

And if you’re would like my help,

BOOTCAMP I’m hosting this month.

comment below “bootcamp” for the link

Step 1:
Identify Your Strengths

Figure out one skill that you’re really

good at and enjoy doing

(and that actually solves a problem)

ISABELLA BEDOYA
Pro Tip:

Be very specific with what

you’re very good at.

ISABELLA BEDOYA
Bad Example:

“I’m great at digital marketing

and lead generation for b2b
brands”

It’s too generic

This is what everyone is offering
There’s no clear unique value
proposition

ISABELLA BEDOYA
Great Example:

“I’ve created a 3-step process

that can help coaches get more
sales without sales calls.”

It’s more specific

It actually solves a problem or pain points
Positions you as having a proprietary process
It works even better when you tie in results.
For example: “I’ve created a 3-step process
that generates 2x more sales without sales
calls.”

ISABELLA BEDOYA
Another (Bad) Example:

“I sell ai chatbots and

automation services”

It’s too generic

The average person doesn’t *really*
know what this means (at least not yet)
Sounds too technical
You sound like every other person that’s
launching something in AI

ISABELLA BEDOYA
Instead say this:

“I help coaches automatically

book appointments 24/7
without paying for staff”

Here you are solving 2 problems: more

sales and lower labor costs

Generates a lot more curiosity. How the

heck do you do that? I want to learn more.

No mention of tech, therefore,

immediately feels less complicated for the
non-techie.

ISABELLA BEDOYA
Then, find ways to integrate
AI into your skillset
AI augments your skills and abilities.

It’s not meant to fully replace you.

So you need to figure out ways to

integrate AI tools, or ChatGPT
prompts to accelerate the process.

Research groups and forums.

Talk to peers.

Engage in AI discussions.

ISABELLA BEDOYA
Step 2:
Who Is Your Ideal Client?

Most people say

“it’s everyone”

Honestly, it’s not.

ISABELLA BEDOYA
Use This ChatGPT prompt
to help you figure it out.

Act as a market research expert. I offer consulting

services and I help my clients {insert a high level
overview of how you help}.

Create the audience persona for who this is for.

Include pain points, fears, desires, wants, and buying

behaviors. When possible use short, punchy sentences
instead of long, verbose ones.

Organize all of the above in markdown formatting.

PS - don’t insert any IP, proprietary information, or

confidential information into ChatGPT.

ISABELLA BEDOYA
i.e. let’s say you offer cold
email services:

For best results, use ChatGPT4.

ISABELLA BEDOYA
Audience Persona:

ISABELLA BEDOYA
Step 3: Create Your Brand

JUST KIDDING.

Please step away from canva

right now.

Nobody cares about your color

palette or logos (yet).

Respectfully.

ISABELLA BEDOYA
Don’t go on wix.

Don’t go building websites.

Don’t go creating a bunch of

social media profiles to reflect
your new brand.

Please don’t.

You need to test it first.

ISABELLA BEDOYA
but don’t you need a brand to be
succesful?

Yes.

But not to start.

Most people don’t even have clarity

on what their brand is in the
beginning anyways.

You gain clarity by collecting data

so you need to go to market fast.

ISABELLA BEDOYA
Here’s (the real) Step 3:
Conversations!!!

Now that you have more clarity on who and how you
can help, rush over to LinkedIn and start looking for
people that fit the description of your ideal client.

(this is step 1 and step 2 put into action)

ISABELLA BEDOYA
By the way this does not mean go and
pitch everyone.

This means start conversations with

ideal clients.

Get to know them.

Get to know their challenges, pain

points, their language.

Let the conversation naturally evolve.

ISABELLA BEDOYA
When I started my previous
business: Fame Hackers
I generated 91 appointments in
one month.

I was terrible at the actual sales

call component so I closed ZERO.

However, I spoke to so many

people that I was now able to
understand the niche inside out
and had better ideas for offers
that would actually convert.

ps - you don’t have to book calls,

this can also be done via DM’s.

ISABELLA BEDOYA
Financially speaking...
Up until that point I had invested:

$350 for a logo

$500 for a funnel
$12k into coaching

$0 ROI.

(ouch)

Why? I jumped the gun and built

everything before understanding
my target audience.

ISABELLA BEDOYA
I learned an important
lesson that month:

Always test first.

Don’t go wasting time and money

building things.

Talk to your target audience so you can

test your offers first.

ISABELLA BEDOYA
Your goal should be to come up with
an idea for an offer and micro-test it
with a small group of people (that
match the description of your ideal client
avatar).

Be prepared for purchases.

Make sure you have a way to collect

payments, like having a simple
checkout page with Stripe or Paypal or
a way to send invoices.

Keep it simple for now.

ISABELLA BEDOYA
The ones who buy from you are
signaling that the test is showing signs
of success.

If they don’t buy, find out why not.

It could be a variety of reasons like:

wrong audience, wrong offer, the value

is not demonstrated correctly, etc.

ISABELLA BEDOYA
Is it successful?

If people are starting to ask you what

you do, how you can help them, and
they actually start buying from you...

It’s time to start building your brand,

funnels, systems, etc.

ISABELLA BEDOYA
If no one buys...

No worries. Find out why not and

pivot FAST without having wasted a
lot of time, energy or resources.

And try again after course

correcting yourself.

ISABELLA BEDOYA
Example #1: Ryan Magin

This tiktok video editor has generated

$1.2M without a website. Don’t believe
me? Go to his website: viraleditz.co

It’ll reroute you to his instagram.

ISABELLA BEDOYA
Example #2:
Tanner Chidester

ISABELLA BEDOYA
Tanner Chidester
(continued)
He generated $2k online his first year
with his coaching business.

His second year is when his real

success started. He decided he was
going to start dm’ing prospects daily.

He landed 3 clients his first week

without a website.

Generated his first $30k from coaching

clients.

After that, he set up all his systems

and now owns a $70M business
(in 4 years).

ISABELLA BEDOYA
Example #3:
Alex Hormozi

ISABELLA BEDOYA
Alex Hormozi
Alex Hormozi started as a gym owner, but
when he started facing challenges with the
gyms he came up with a brilliant idea.

He called up a bunch of people he knew and

offered to sell them his system of how he
grew his gyms in the first place.

He didn’t have a website to start.

This offer later became known as Gym

Launch.

Fast forward a few years later Gym Launch

sold for $46.2M in 2021.

In 2023, he owns a $200M+ company.

ISABELLA BEDOYA
ISABELLA BEDOYA
Example #4:
MarketingPros.ai
When I was starting to pivot away from
Fame Hackers, my friends from B2B power
hour reminded me to just:

“test it”

Nicholas Thickett & Morgan Smith

ISABELLA BEDOYA
Over a 3 week period, I started posting
about my marketing skills infusing them
with AI use cases.

On the third week, this happened:

one of my posts hit 1M impressions in one weekend.

ISABELLA BEDOYA
and within my first month of the pivot I
generated 5x higher monthly cash collected
than I ever did with Fame Hackers.

up until this point, I didn’t have a website or

even a brand name for MarketingPros.ai

ISABELLA BEDOYA
Test. Test. Test.

Once you find a winner.

BUILD.

ISABELLA BEDOYA
You see the pattern?

You don’t need a brand, a

website or expensive software
to start.

You need to just start.

ISABELLA BEDOYA
To recap, here’s 3 simple steps
anyone can follow:

Gain clarity on what your good at

and look for people you can
actually help.

Start talking to them (on or

offline).

Learn about them and collect

ideas for how you will structure
your offers.

Create a test offer.

Test it.
