Resolution authorizing the updating of bank signatories at Land Bank of the

Philippines – Iloilo and Guimaras Branch and the Development Bank of the
Philippines – Iloilo and Guimaras Branch, Hon. Samuel T. Gumarin, M.D.
MPH as Principal signatory, designating Mrs. Nona Mae F. Libresana as
Principal signatory (in lieu of Mrs. Lory S. Paredes, retired Municipal
Treasurer) and Mr. Larry N. Gallos – LTOO III as the alternate signatory for
Mrs. Nona Mae Libresana – Acting Municipal Treasurer, Hon. Cyril C.
Beltran – Principal signatory of the Sangguniang Bayan Office and alternate
signatory of the Municipal Mayor, and Hon. Rommel John G. Edang as
alternate signatory of the Vice Mayor.

WHEREAS, the Office of the Municipal Mayor, Hon. Samuel T. Gumarin,

M.D. MPH has officially submitted a request for a resolution updating the bank
signatory of this Municipality, in all depository accounts at the Landbank of the
Philippines (LBP) and Development Bank of the Philippines (DBP) enumerating
thereon the accounts name and number in Guimaras Branch, Buenavista Branch,
and likewise including those held at the Iloilo Branch;

WHEREAS, the Municipality of Buenavista maintains various accounts

with the Land Bank of the Philippines, as detailed below:

WHEREAS, Mrs. Lory S. Paredes, the Municipal Treasurer, retired on

November 16, 2023. The Municipal Mayor endorsed Ms. Nona Mae F. Libresana
to be the Acting Municipal Treasurer.

WHEREAS, Ms. Nona Mae Libresana, Cashier II, of the Municipal

Treasury Office, is hereby designated as ACTING MUNICIPAL TREASURER,
Municipality of Buenavista, same province, for a period of ONE (1) YEAR,
effective 16 November 2023 up to not beyond 15 November, 2024, unless sooner
revoked.

WHEREAS, the Municipal Mayor, Hon. Samuel T. Gumarin and Ms. Nona
Mae F. Libresana will be the principal signatory in all depository accounts of the
Municipal Government of Buenavista, Guimaras;

WHEREAS, the Municipal Vice Mayor, Hon. Cyril C. Beltran will be the
principal signatory of the Sangguniang Bayan Office and alternate signatory of the
Municipal Mayor, and Hon. Rommel John G. Edang as alternate signatory of the
Vice Mayor;

WHEREAS, it is further recommended that Mr. Larry N. Gallos – LTOO

III will be the alternate signatory for Mrs. Nona Mae Libresana – Acting Municipal
Treasurer, for the Office of the Municipal Treasury;

BE IT RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, to authorize the

updating of bank signatories at Landbank of the Philippines – Iloilo and
Guimaras Branch and the Development Bank of the Philippines – Iloilo and
Guimaras Branch, Hon. Samuel T. Gumarin, M.D. MPH as Principal
signatory, designating Mrs. Nona Mae F. Libresana as Principal signatory (in
lieu of Mrs. Lory S. Paredes, retired Municipal Treasurer) and Mr. Larry N.
Gallos – LTOO III as the alternate signatory for Mrs. Nona Mae Libresana –
Acting Municipal Treasurer, Hon. Cyril C. Beltran – Principal signatory of
the Sangguniang Bayan Office and alternate signatory of the Municipal
Mayor, and Hon. Rommel John G. Edang as alternate signatory of the Vice
Mayor.

FURTHER RESOLVED, that copies of this resolution be promptly

transmitted to all relevant parties for their awareness and adherence.
