INTRODUCTION
Husband and wife working together in a family business
is quite a common occurrence in the Philippines. In
many if not most cases, the couple does not work as a
team. Normally, the husband is the head of the company
and the wife takes a subordinate role. In most cases, the
wife assumes the role of treasurer or cashier, which is
the normal role of the wife in the home in our matriarchal
society.
