REAA - CPPREP4004 - Personal Profile Template v1.3c
When you commence working in a real estate agency, one of your first tasks is likely
to be writing a personal profile to be used in the agency's window displays, the
internet and other promotional materials.
Think of your personal profile as your personal brand. Personal brand is all about
self-promotion. The clients and customers must know the following when they are in
need of real estate services;
Afterall, to win the business of your prospective clients and customers they need to
know you exist in the real estate space.
You may be thinking, "I haven't worked in real estate before", "I don't have any real
estate experience".
We have all been there, but you need to start somewhere. It is important not to focus
on the skills you have not yet developed but rather the skills that you do have that
are transferable to the real estate space.
Do you have excellent communication skills? Are you punctual? Are you reliable? All
these attributes are transferable and can be used in your personal profile. As you
undertake professional development and acquire more industry skills you can update
your profile.
Download the personal profile template to your computer and open it using the most
up to date Acrobat Adobe. It is important to ensure at this point that you are not
opening in your Internet browser as this will not allow your work to be saved.
Imagine that you have commenced your employment as an assistant agent in a local
real estate office and you have been asked to write an ethical personal profile about
yourself to be used for marketing and communication purposes in the agency
window, on their website and in other promotional materials to be distributed to
prospective clients and customers.
The personal profile must be of you (including photo of yourself) and comply with
legal requirements as well as be consistent with ethical practice.
Upload your completed document your learner portal following the assessment task
instructions.
You can drag and drop the file into the window or use the add file icon in the top left
of the submission window and select the file your wish to upload by using the
browse/choose file option.
