The following Table displays the point estimates and 95% confidence intervals for all of the

likelihood ratios (LRs) presented in this book. Also, the Table presents the range of disease

prevalences observed in the studies used to calculate the LRs (i.e., pretest probability of disease,

see Chapter 2). Chapter 3 presents the methods used to obtain the point estimates of LRs and

their confidence intervals, and individual chapters define each physical finding and further

discuss its significance.
