1. Overpopulation: Overpopulation is a term that refers to a condition in which
the density enlarges to a limit that provokes the environmental deterioration, a drop in the quality of life, or a population collapse. Bangladesh is one of the most densely populated country in the world. About 1080-1150 people lives in 1 square kilometer. One of the example of overpopulation is Poverty, Large numbers of people in Bangladesh are living under poverty line. They are deprived from many opportunities of life. They have need for money. They believe, more children earn more money. So they procreate more children in their married life. 2. Unemployment: Unemployment occurs when a person who is actively searching for employment is unable to find work. Unemployment is one of the causes of social problems. It leads to the frustration The vast majority of people in Bangladesh prefer to supplement their income through doing jobs.There is a connection between being unemployed and being poor. A worker is considered to be unemployed if they are unable to find work at a salary that is acceptable to them. People are said to be unemployed when they are unable to find work in a certain economy because there are insufficient vacancies available. 3. Poverty: Poverty is the lack of a certain amount of material possessions or money. It includes social, economic, and political elements. Poverty causes lack of food, health services and others. Rural people in Bangladesh generally have large families, very small landholdings or none at all, and high rates of illiteracy. One of the example that impact of poverty in Bangladesh is the poor condition of rickshaw pullers in urban areas. The thousands of rickshaw puller lives in slums or other temporary shelter. Despite of their hard work, they earn a poor incomes, which is barely enough to support their families. 4. Nature problem: The natural environment of Bangladesh has been under continuous pressure due to unplanned urbanization and industrialization. Although environmental rules and regulations are formulated and enforcing in some extent, it is needed to take more necessary steps for improving environmental quality and to prevent deterioration of environment in Bangladesh. People of this country are not also aware that they are polluting the environment because of lack of knowledge and awareness. Economic problem 1. Inflation and Price Instability: Containing inflation, which has been rising since the start of year 2021-22, and preserving currency rate stability will be important difficulties for Bangladesh in the coming days, according to the Bangladesh Bank's annual report. Due to rising global commodity prices, an orderly withdrawal from the unprecedented expansionary policy stance was required. 2. Limited Access to Quality Education: In Bangladesh, equal access to high- quality education must be ensured. The educational program should be consistent for all kids through high school. The SDGs place priority on ensuring comprehensive and equitable quality education and encouraging opportunities for lifelong learning for all. Although Bangladesh has moved swiftly to achieve this goal, it still need more attention from the authorities because equity and quality must be achieved for it to be genuinely successful. 3. Infrastructure Development: In recent years, Bangladesh’s real estate sector has seen little development. There is a lack of emphasis on making housing affordable to all. For example, despite being such an established and prominent institution, BUET still lacks adequate housing for both faculty and students. The number of students enrolling is growing, yet the residential halls in which they dwell are in disrepair. Some of the huge infrastructure projects construction quality is also questionable. 4. Energy Crisis: Bangladesh is experiencing a serious energy crisis, which has resulted in greater load shedding, a lack of gas, and a deficit of other basic energies for industry and business. Load shedding has gotten worse and more common, lasting longer than an hour each time. This has had a negative impact on people's lives, industry, business, and the economy. People have been suffering heavily in their daily lives, with considerable limits on their economic activity and productivity, as well as their income and livelihoods.
