Celebration of Rashtriya Ekta Diwas (National Unity Day)

The birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel is being observed

as National Unity Day .The occasion provides us as an opportunity to re –
affirm the inherent strength and resilience of our nation to withstand the
actual and potential threats to the unity ,integrity and security of our
country.

In keeping with the tradition ,Assam Rifles Public School is

celebrating the National Unity Day by undertaking the following online
activities.
1. A pledge (oath) taking ceremony for all school students to mark the
occasion .Class teachers of all the classes are kindly requested
to conduct the pledge (oath) tomorrow (02/11/2020) during the
class and post the screen shot of the oath taking ceremony in the
ARPS teacher’s WhatsApp Group . Class teachers should ensure
that all the students switch on the camera during the oath taking
ceremony .The pledge is given below:
 2. Slogan Writing Competition on the theme ‘Rashtriya Ekta’ (National
Unity).

This is only for classes X , XI and XII .Class teachers are kindly requested
to instruct all the students to write the slogan on a chart paper/ sheet of
white paper and post the photograph in the respective class WhatsApp
group before 4 :00 pm on Monday (02/11/20).Class teachers are
requested to select the best three slogans of your class and post it in the
ARPS teacher’s WhatsApp group on the same day.
3.Quiz Competition : To celebrate the Rashtriya Ekta Diwas (National
Unity Day )the Department of School Education and Literacy ,Ministry of
Education ,Government of India is organizing a Quiz Competition for
school children on ‘My Govt. in portal’ on the theme “knowledge,
traditions ,practices and Heritage of India.”

In this context ,students of all the classes (VI –XII) are requested to take
part in the competition on 02/11/2020 and post the certificate of
Merit /Participation in the respective class Whats App group on the
same day and the class teachers are requested to give the total no of
students participated to the in-charge as we have to submit a report to
the CBSE on or before 03/11/2020.
