Summary of findings

The researchers found out that emergency management practice are a valuable

Based on the research study derived from the responses made by the

respondents on the emergency management awareness questionnaires given to them,

the researchers present the following findings;

1. Level of Awareness on Emergency Management Practice

1.1 Level of Awareness of Respondents on Emergency Management


Practices in terms of Fire Incidents

The result of the survey suggests that the personnel of San Pablo Colleges are

much aware about the emergency management practices in terms of fire

incidents. Teachers are less aware about these practices than the personnel.

Though students are aware about these practices, they came last about the

knowledge about these practices.

1.2 Level of Awareness of Respondents on Emergency Management Practices


in terms of Earthquake

Researchers found out that in terms of earthquake emergency management

practices, same thing could be said about the result. Personnel of San Pablo

Colleges are much aware about emergency management practices in terms of

earthquake incidents. Again, teachers are less aware about these practices than
the personnel. Though students are aware about these practices, they came last

about the lever of awareness about these practices.

1.3 Level of Awareness of Respondents on Emergency Management Practices


in terms of Medical Emergencies

Researchers found out that once again the personnel of San Pablo Colleges are

much aware about the emergency management practices in terms of medical

emergencies. But surprisingly the numbers are getting low and thus the

awareness of the whole San Pablo Colleges. Teachers are less aware about

these practices than the personnel, And though students are aware about these

practices yet again, they came last about their awareness about these practices.

2. Level of awareness of the following phases of emergency management being

implemented in the institution.

2.1 Extent of the Implementation of the Phases of Emergency Management in

terms of Prevention & Mitigation

The result of the survey suggests that the San Pablo Colleges’ stuents, teachers

and personnel has an identical numbers implying that they are agreeing about

the effective implemetation of prevention and mitigation efforts of San Pablo

Colleges.

2.2 Extent of the Implementation of the Phases of Emergency Management in terms


of Preparedness

In this result, we can see that the school’s community are participating in different

phases of preparation activities . But if we’ll look into these numbers we can tell that
the personnel, faculties and students have different experiences and practices in effort

of the school’s initiative to prepare the community for emergencies

2.3 Extent of the Implementation of the Phases of Emergency Management in terms

of Response

Respondents are agreed about the immediate response and effort of the school to

cultivate a habit of fast and efficient way of emergency management. Numbers

suggests that there can be a better way to create a consistent way responding to these

kinds of emergencies.

2.4 Extent of the Implementation of the Phases of Emergency Management in terms

of Recovery

The respondents from students, teachers and personnel agreed about the the effective

recovery phase of emergency management that the school is practicing Yet there is

still a room for improvement and enchantment that the school can apply and create.

Conclusion

In summary the results of this study provide insights, into how emergency

management practice understood and put into action at San Pablo Colleges.
To begin with when it comes to awareness it is clear that the staff show an

understanding across areas especially when it comes to handling fire incidents being

ready for earthquakes and dealing with medical emergencies. However there is room

for improvement among teachers and students who seem to have awareness levels.

This emphasizes the need for education and training programs to boost the readiness

of the students, teachers and personnel.

Enhancement is a priority and a broader and more efficient way of establishing a safer

place for the San Pablo Colleges community is in need. This indicates the importance

of assessing and adjusting recovery strategies to facilitate a return to normalcy after

an emergency. In essence this study emphasizes the significance of cultivating a

culture focused on preparedness and constant enhancement, within San Pablo

Colleges emergency management framework.

By bridging knowledge deficiencies and improving the execution tactics the

organization can enhance the safety of its community. Lessen the repercussions of

crises.
