1 Translate the following paragraphs into Urdu (15 marks)
1. A Policeman has to protect the public from thieves and wicked men. He has to give help to all those who need it, especially to strangers, foreigners and old people. He must be brave and strong so that he can prevent violent people from behaving rudely. In a difficulty, the policeman has the right to call upon anybody for help. To refuse to help the policeman is an offense against good citizenship. 2. Television is one of the wonders of modern science. Many useful programmes on education, health and agriculture are telecasted. Interesting plays and films are shown at regular intervals. It is used for commercial advertisement. It was invented by John Baird. 3. The greatest wealth is our own health. A healthy body can earn great wealth but, a wealthy person cannot earn great health. We live in a fast-moving world where individuals have no time for themselves. Most part of their life withers away in search of materialistic wealth in order to outshine others but, along the way, they lose their health.
