Our Design Team
Our in-house design team consists of chartered
building surveyors and architectural technologists who
have extensive experience in delivering professional
design services. These services are available for all
types of construction projects including interior design,
refurbishment and upgrade works, alteration and
extension to existing buildings and new build.
Our Expertise
The team has extensive expertise in both public and
private sectors including traditional procurement and
design and build. We employ skilled architectural
technologists with specialist 3D capabilities who focus
on the visual impact of a project. This, coupled with
the construction technology skills of the building
surveyors, ensures the right materials are used and
that all statutory regulations are met. This team also
monitors quality assurance, costs and deadlines and
will undertake the role of contract administrator and
lead consultant overseeing projects from inception to
completion.
Our Approach
We work with clients to prepare outline design
feasibility studies, produce detailed design and
specifications using industry standard tools as well
as being forerunners in building information
modelling (BIM) and its use with existing buildings.

We naturally build into our designs sustainability
and we employ dual qualified chartered surveyors
and chartered environmentalists to ensure innovative,
sustainable, cost effect design solutions are proposed
and delivered.
Our Quality Procedures
The development of the detailed design of a project
requires careful co-ordination and management and
we do this under the banner of our quality procedures
which meet ISO 9001. AA Projects monitor all its
design schemes on a continuing basis, as part of our
quality assurance to ensure our services are delivered
efficiently, on time and within budget. This monitoring
continues as the project develops, enabling us to
provide all clients with an efficient and reliable quality
service. We are able to tailor our services to suit the
individual needs of each client and to provide quality
and continuity of design we use the latest AutoCAD
packages.
