What is a Rheumatologist?

A Rheumatologist is a doctor
who is a board-certified internist
or a pediatrician who has
received additional education
and expertise with the diagnosis
and treatment on arthritic

Rheumatoid arthritis, also referred to
as RA, is an autoimmune chronic
connective tissue disease
characterized by continuous
systemic inflammation, which leads
to joint function loss and destruction.
A lack of bone mass causes physical
bone loss, often known as
osteopenia or osteoporosis.

Swelling and Tenderness in Joints
Symtoms on both sides of the body.
