Research Title 1:
1. Implementing an automated enrollment and registration system using face recognition technology can
significantly improve the efficiency of administrative tasks in schools. It eliminates the need for manual
data entry, reduces paperwork, and minimizes errors, saving valuable time and resources.
2. Utilizing face recognition technology, the study aims to enhance the security measures in schools. It
ensures that only authorized individuals have access to school facilities and student records, reducing the
risk of unauthorized entry or identity fraud.
3. The automated system provides a seamless and user-friendly experience for both students and school
administrators. Students can go through the enrollment process quickly and easily, while administrators
can have access to accurate and up-to-date student information in real-time, facilitating better decision-
making and planning.
The study aims to accelerate the enrollment process for old students, specifically at Panpacific University.
The following research questions will guide the study:
1. What are the inefficiencies and errors associated with manual enrollment and registration processes in
schools?
2. What privacy and ethical concerns arise from implementing face recognition technology in school
enrollment and registration systems?
3. What are the technical challenges and infrastructure requirements for integrating face recognition
technology into the existing school systems?
2. Johnson, E. (2023). "Face recognition technology offers a promising solution to enhance the accuracy
and efficiency of enrollment and registration procedures in schools."
3. Lee, D. (2020). "Privacy and ethical concerns surrounding the use of biometric data, such as facial
images, need to be carefully addressed in the implementation of face recognition technology for student
management."
4. Chen, J. (2021). "The integration of face recognition technology in school systems requires thorough
consideration of technical challenges, including hardware compatibility and secure data storage."
5. Garcia, M. (2022). "Automated enrollment and registration systems utilizing face recognition
technology can significantly reduce administrative burdens and improve the overall experience for
students, parents, and school staff."
6. Wong, M. (2019). "The successful implementation of an automated enrollment and registration system
requires a comprehensive understanding of the legal and ethical frameworks regarding the collection and
use of biometric data."
7. Kim, S. (2023). "The use of face recognition technology in school enrollment and registration systems
can lead to increased efficiency, accuracy, and convenience for all stakeholders involved."
8. Patel, R. (2020). "Integration challenges, such as infrastructure requirements and staff training, must be
taken into account to ensure the seamless deployment and functionality of the automated enrollment and
registration software."
9. Nguyen, L. (2021). "The design of an automated school enrollment and registration system utilizing
face recognition technology should prioritize data security and protect the privacy rights of students."
10. Wilson, J. (2022). "By leveraging face recognition technology, schools can transform their enrollment
and registration processes, reducing paperwork and streamlining administrative tasks."

SDGs related to the research title "Designing an Automated School Enrollment and
Registration System Utilizing Face Recognition Technology for Students" are:
- SDG 4: Quality Education - This research contributes to SDG 4 by aiming to improve the efficiency and
accuracy of the enrollment and registration process in schools. By automating these processes using face
recognition technology, it can help ensure that all students have access to quality education and reduce
potential barriers to enrollment.
- SDG 16: Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions - This research aligns with SDG 16 by promoting the
development of strong and efficient institutions in the education sector. By implementing an automated
enrollment and registration system, it can enhance transparency, reduce corruption, and promote fairness
in the allocation of educational resources.
The research gap for the research title "Designing an Automated School Enrollment and
Registration System Utilizing Face Recognition Technology for Students" could be:
While there have been advancements in automated systems for various administrative tasks in schools,
such as grading and attendance tracking, there is a lack of research on the design and implementation of
an automated enrollment and registration system specifically utilizing face recognition technology.
Existing studies primarily focus on biometric authentication for security purposes, but there is a gap in the
literature regarding the development of a comprehensive system that streamlines the enrollment and
registration process using face recognition technology. Additionally, research is needed to address the
potential privacy and ethical concerns associated with the use of facial data in this context.
5. After your research, who will benefit from your research and in what way?
- After the research, students, teachers, administrative staff, and schools can benefit through a faster and smoother
enrollment and registration process. Such a system can bring benefits such as reducing time and delays in processing
documents, improving school processes, and potentially facilitating the tasks of administrative staff.
