ram, a resident of W 149, 4th
Street, B sector, Anna Nagar West-
ern Extension by Ranganathan
Foundation on April 17.
Gnanasundaram, an authority
on Vaishnavite literature, was the
first professor of the Kamban
Chair, Central University, Pondi-
cherry and former vice president,
Central Institute of Classical Ta-
mil.
The foundation has been ho-
nouring Tamil scholars who have
made contributions to literature,
art and heritage, with awards car-
rying ₹ 1 lakh and a citation
The awards were instituted in
memory of Maa Ranganathan, a
well-recognised writer of novels
and short stories.

for many months and on account of metro rail construction the pedestrian subway
here is also closed. The junction witnesses good traffic.
