RECOMMENDED MATERIALS AND TOOLS

SNOWMAN:

• YarnArt Jeans (55% cotton, 45% polyakril, 50 g/160 m):

⎯ white (1 skein);
⎯ orange (for the nose);
⎯ black (to embroider the mouth and eyebrows);
⎯ red (for the scarf)
⎯ blue (mittens, boots and headphones)
⎯ dark brown (for the headphones)
• Toy eyes Ø8 mm
• Crochet hook #1.5 mm
• Toy stuffing
• Needle
MITTEN:
• YarnArt Jeans (55% cotton, 45% polyakril, 50 g/160 m):
red (1 skein); Crochet hook #1.5 mm
• plush yarn Alize Softy Plus (or Himalay Dolphin Baby) (100g/120m)–
white; Crochet hook #3.5 mm

 ABBREVIATIONS:
mr – magic ring CH – chain
SC – single crochet sl st – slip stitch
INC – single crochet increase х- repeat x times
DEC – single crochet decrease DC– double crochet
BOBBLE STITCH – series of stitches worked into the same loop and
joined at the top.

Work in spirals.
Final size of the toy with the indicated yarn ~ 13 cm (5 inc), depends on your
way of crocheting.

 Head sculpting: Points 1,2, – between 23 – 24 rows (count from a mr),
distance between them ~ 1 SC

Use strong thread. Insert needle into p.1 – pull out of p.3, leaving a long yarn
tail.
Insert into p.4 – pull out of p.2
Insert into p.5 – pull out of p.5
Insert into p.6 – pull out of p.2

Tie a knot, hide remained thread tail inside.

 Sew the nose in the center between the eyes and embroider the mouth and
eyebrows.

22 ch, from the 2nd ch from the hook 21 SC, Fasten off, leave a long yarn tail to
sew.
Do not cut yarn tail when you have finished the 2 nd part, continue working:
place the 1st part and sc in the round grabbing loops of 2 parts simultaneously. Fasten
off, leave a long yarn tail to sew.

Sew the headband to the headphones as in the photo.

 HORNS
Dark-brown yarn color (make 2)
1 part:
1. Start 6 SC in a mr
2. – 3. 6 SC (2 rows)
Fasten off and cut yarn tail.
2 part:
1. Start 6 SC in a mr
2. – 4. 6 SC (3 rows)
5. Place the 1st part and crochet 3 sc
grabbing loops of both parts
(Insert hook from the inside), then
crochet 3 sc on the 2nd part only.
6. – 8. 6 SC (3 rows)
Fasten off, leave a long yarn tail to sew.

ASSEMBLY AND DECORATION

Sew front and back paws as pictured

Limbs thread joint

Sew the headphones to the head. Sew the horns to the headphones

Use soft pastel to tint the cheeks

SCARF

Turn the item and make ch in the end of each row.

Optionally: embroider the snowflakes.

Bend plush part in half and sew a loop (chain) on the center of back part
