I, the Student or as the Parent/Guardian of the Student, understand that IDP Education India Pvt Ltd (IDP-India) collects
the above personal information (possibly including information defined as “sensitive” information under privacy protection
legislation) to enable my request for obtaining information on study opportunities in the USA and for applying to study at
US Institutions via IDP-India to be processed. I understand that I will be able to have reasonable access to this
information and to request correction of any information that I believe is inaccurate. I understand that IDP-India also takes
reasonable steps to ensure the security of any personal information. I understand that IDP-India will disclose personal
information only to organisations or individuals who are directly and immediately involved in activities associated with the
purpose for which this information is being collected including any government or regulatory authorities. I understand that
IDP-India may wish to notify me of future events/promotions/exhibitions and other updates from IDP-India regarding
education opportunities.
 I consent to IDP-India collecting the above personal information (including sensitive information) for the purpose
of processing my enquiry/application to study.

Thank you for choosing IDP Education India Pvt. Ltd as your service provider to facilitate realization of
your dreams of higher education in the USA.
It is important that you read and fully understand the applicable Terms & Conditions of this Service Agreement in respect to
services being provided to you, the Student by IDP-India, which are given hereunder.

Please sign this form and hand it to your Counsellor along with the cash/ Bank draft/ cheque fin favour of IDP Education
India Pvt. Ltd. As per the Schedule of Service in Annexure 1 . The service fees paid are not refundable

This Service Agreement consisting of the Signature Page and these Terms & Conditions constitutes the entire
contract governing the relationship between the Student or Parent/Guardian of the student and IDP-India:

1. Recruitment Services
The Student or the Parent/Guardian (as applicable) acknowledges that IDP-India provides recruitment services
including assistance with:
a) course information and career options;
b) application processing assistance; and
c) pre-departure assistance,
to Students seeking to undertake study in a program or course at partner institutions / other US institutions of IDP
Education Pty Ltd (IDP) in the United States of America (US) . At all times, the final course decision lies with the
Student or Parent/Guardian and is not the responsibility of IDP-India.

2. Performance Standards
IDP-India will perform the services:
(a) with due care, skill and diligence;
(b) in a professional and timely manner; and
(c) in accordance with all relevant legislation in the applicable jurisdictions.

3. Acknowledgement
The Student or the Parent/Guardian (as applicable) acknowledges that the information provided on the front of
this form is true, accurate and complete. The Student or the Parent/Guardian (as applicable) acknowledges that
the provision of incorrect information or the withholding of relevant information relating to the application by the
Student or the Parent/Guardian (as applicable) may delay the consideration and progress of the application with
education institutions.

4. Liability
IDP-India is not liable for any loss, liability or expense arising out of or in connection with a claim by the Student or
the Parent/Guardian (as applicable) against the IDP Partner / Other Institutions (whether in contract, tort
(including negligence) or otherwise) relating to the services provided by the US Institutions. IDP-India does not
warrant or guarantee that the Student’s application will be accepted by the US Institution(s) or that the Student will
be granted a VISA and is not liable for any losses or expenses associated with the Student’s reliance on the
Institution’s acceptance and VISA being granted.

5. Compliance
The Student enters into a contract with the relevant IDP Partner / Other US Institution on acceptance of a
confirmation of enrolment. The Student is obliged to comply with any rules and regulations and any Terms &
Conditions of the Institution including in respect of any cancellation or amendment of any courses or programs or
the refund of any course fees.

6. Privacy
As outlined in the Privacy Statement on the front of this Service Agreement, IDP-India takes all reasonable steps
to ensure the security of such personal information and will disclose such personal information only to:
(a) organisations or individuals who are directly and immediately involved in activities associated with the
purpose for which this information is being collected; or
(b) if required to do so by law in the country of origin or the host country; or
(c) as required in connection with related legal proceedings.

7. Term and Renewal


While IDP-India has a mission recognising whole of life services to each Student who engages its services, this
contract with IDP-India is valid for up to 40 days after the commencement of study with the Client Institution from
which the Student has received a confirmation of enrolment (Term). Any additional service subsequently required
by the Student after completion of the Term may be provided by an IDP office in the country of study or by IDP-
India under a separate arrangement.

8. Application Process
The Student or the Parent/Guardian (as applicable) acknowledges that he or she fully understands and agrees:
a) he or she will be responsible for providing an accurate, legible, complete transcript of the Student’s
application to IDP-India for processing;

b) it is his or her responsibility to provide true and complete information relating to the Student’s educational
qualifications or any other information to the IDP-India Counsellor (Counsellor) assigned to the Student
in order to receive appropriate guidance;
c) after the Student’s registration with IDP-India, the Student may only be registered by IDP-India with
Partner / Other US Institutions as per defined list;
d) to pay the application fee (if applicable) and the tuition fee as advised by the Institution to the Institution
and any other expenses associated with admission of the Student to the Institution after receiving
confirmation of enrolment from the Institution;

e) it shall be his or her sole responsibility to abide with the deadlines for admission, acceptance of offer,
VISA application and VISA interview.
f) to pay services fees to IDP-India as per annexure 1 of schedule of services. Schedule of services is
subject to change at the sole discretion of IDP-India.

9. Admission Process
The Student or the Parent/Guardian (as applicable) acknowledges that he or she fully understands and agrees:
a) services offered and provided by IDP-India do not guarantee the Student’s admission or placement at a
specific Institution; or award of any financial aid or scholarship to a Student;
b) the Student’s admission and award of financial aid or scholarship shall be determined by the Institution
alone and IDP-India shall provide the Student with guidance only in respect to Institutions;
c) IDP-India will offer only the full time registered courses offered by Partner / Other US Institutions
available to international students;
d) IDP-India will facilitate and guide the Student or the Parent/Guardian (as applicable) in securing the
Student’s admission to Partner / Other US Institutions by matching admission criteria for Institutions with
the requirements of the Student but is unable to grant admission to Institutions;
e) he or she must obtain and consider the current list of Partner / Other US Institutions available from IDP-
India’s Student Service Centers and Counsellors before signing this Service Agreement. The Institution
list is updated on a regular basis so the Student or the Parent/Guardian (as applicable) must keep
themselves informed about the current Partner / Other US Institution list on regular basis;
f) he or she must undertake sufficient investigation about the Institution and the course in which the
student wishes to enrol before making any decision to apply to that Partner / Other US Institution; and

10. VISA Process


The Student or the Parent/Guardian (as applicable) acknowledges that he or she fully understands and agrees:
a) he or she shall be solely responsible for providing complete and correct supporting financial documents
as required by the Embassy for grant of a US Student VISA, and he or she shall have sole responsibility
if the Embassy finds the Student’s information incorrect or false; IDP-India does not have any
responsibility or liability, what so ever, in this regard.
b) grant of the requisite Student VISA is at the sole discretion of the US Embassy;
c) the Student will have to undergo the normal VISA process and procedure (viz. VISA interview) to obtain
grant of the requisite Student VISA from the USA Embassy;
d) any VISA fee to be charged by the US Embassy is separate from and not included in any Service Fee
paid to IDP-India;
e) he or she is solely responsible for preparing any documents (including financial documents) in support of
the Student’s VISA application;
f) IDP-India will facilitate and guide the Student or the Parent/Guardian (as applicable) in compiling the
requisite VISA documents and preparation for the VISA interview process but is unable to grant VISAS;
g) he or she is responsible for all fees associated with the VISA application and any fees associated with
re-submission of a VISA application.

11. Services Offered


The Service IDP-India will offer includes:
- Step 1 (Profiling and University Selection);
- Step 2 (Application Review and Assistance);
- Step 3 (Interview Preparation);
- Step 4 (Receipt of I-20);
- Step 5 (VISA Counselling); and
- Step 6 (Pre-Departure Orientation)

11.1 Additional Fees and Charges


The Student or the Parent/Guardian (as applicable) acknowledges that he or she fully understands and
agrees that the following fees or charges are separate from the Service Fees paid to IDP-India and must
be paid by the Student or the Parent/Guardian (as applicable) in addition to any Service Fees paid to
IDP-India:

a) assessment of academic documents through registered assessment bodies in the US for which
the costs will be charged on an actual basis (actual fee charged by such assessment bodies in
the US);
b) VISA application fees (Bar Code Fees) as charged by the US Embassy;
c) application fees for the Client Institution (if applicable);
d) all applicable taxes in India or the US including value added and services tax currently applicable
or imposed at any time during the provision of the services; and
e) SEVIS fee.

12. IDP-India Services

Step 1: Profiling and Client Institution Selection


An admissions Counsellor will study the Student’s profile, evaluate the Student’s academic scores,
standardized test (SAT/ GMAT /GRE /TOEFL /IELTS) scores, professional work experience (if any),
extracurricular and personal activities, special talents and courses that the Student intends to take.
Based on these factors, the Student’s admissions Counsellor will provide the student a shortlist of few
potential Partner / Other US Institutions.
Step 2: Application Review and Assistance
The following services will be provided by IDP-India to the Student for the Partner / Other US Institutions
selected:
1. forward supporting documents along with applications to the Institutions selected; and
2. follow-up with the Partner / Other US Institutions selected issue of the offer of admission letter and I-
20.
Step 3: Interview Preparation
Once the Student receives an interview call from a Partner / Other US Institution, IDP-India will conduct
interview training for the Student to help the Student prepare for the actual Partner / Other US Institution
interview.
Step 4: Receipt of I-20
IDP-India will provide guidance and assistance to the Student or the Parent/Guardian (as applicable) in
compiling documents required for issue of the I-20.
Step 5: Visa Counselling
IDP-India will assist the Student in preparing for the VISA interview, familiarizing the Student with the
type of questions that may be asked. A VISA specialist will be assigned to the Student to provide VISA
counselling. IDP-India will help the Student or the Parent/Guardian (as applicable) compile academic &
financial documents in a logical way for efficient presentation to the US Embassy / vendor that will
process the Student’s VISA application.
Step 6: Pre-departure Orientation
IDP-India will assist the Student where possible with other necessary arrangements for departure to the
US through an orientation program.

Terms & Conditions:
1. The signup fee is valid for applications of a single defined intake.
2. IDP reserves the right refuse to sign up a student.
3. The total fee amount based on services /applications need to be submitted upfront at time of signup.
4. Deferrals of intake /applications will be accepted under this service fee agreement on a case by case basis
and will be sole discretion of IDP.
