Subordinating conjunctions are words that introduce a dependent clause and connect it to an
independent clause. If they appear in the middle of a sentence, they don't require punctuation.
However, if they appear at the start, place a comma after the whole subordinate clause.
A. Write the subordinating conjunctions in the boxes below according to their function.
2. I made an extra portion of rice since / so that there would be some left for the next day.
D. Complete each sentence with a subordinating conjunction below plus one of the
beginnings in the left box, or one of the endings in the right box.
