Applicability
NOTE: THIS SERVICE BULLETIN IS ONLY APPLICABLE TO THE AIRCRAFT LISTED IN THE ASSOCIATED
MASTER DOCUMENT LIST (MDL) REF. AVI-00690-MDL.
According to its Design Organisation Approval, PMV engineering undertakes to be compliant with
Part 21A.3(a). Therefore, any occurrences which cause or might cause adverse effects on the
continuing airworthiness of the product, part or appliance covered by this product change has to be

1. PLANNING INFORMATION
1.1. EFFECTIVITY
Refer to the Master Document List AVI-00690-MDL at its latest approved revision for the applicability
of this Service Bulletin.
1.4. DESCRIPTION
The modification consists to upgrade (Software) or to replace existing Honeywell TPA100B TCAS
computer P/N: 940-0351-001.
1.6. COMPLIANCE
No compliance time is given.
1.7. APPROVAL
The Technical content of this document is approved under the authority of DOA ref. EASA.21J.487.
The approval is granted through the document Supplemental Type Certificate ref. 10050942 at its
latest approved revision.

3. ACCOMPLISHMENT INSTRUCTIONS
3.1. GENERAL INFORMATION
CAUTION: KEEP THE WORK AREA, WIRES AND ELECTRICAL BUNDLES CLEAN OF METAL
PARTICLES OR CONTAMINATION WHEN YOU USE TOOLS. UNWANTED MATERIAL, METAL PARTICLES
OR CONTAMINATION CAUGHT IN WIRE BUNDLES CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE BUNDLES.
DAMAGED WIRE BUNDLES CAN CAUSE SPARKS OR OTHER ELECTRICAL DAMAGE.
NOTE: Refer to the AIRBUS Electrical Standard Practices Manuals (ESPM) for the wire
installation procedures.
All deviations to procedures described in this Service Bulletin shall be notified to PMV
Engineering using the Deviation Request Form (last page of this document).
Description
1. Make sure that the aircraft is electrically grounded, (Refer to AMM Task 12-34-24).
Do the job set-up procedure as specified in the removal of the TCAS Computer (1SG) (Refer to AMM Task 34-

Remove TCAS Computer in accordance with AMM 34-43-34 PB 401,
Send the TCAS Computer to Service Center or Authorized Repair for Upgrade,
Install new TCAS Computer in accordance with AMM 34-43-34 PB 401.

4. SYSTEM TEST
4.1. CAUTION AND WARNINGS
WARNING : MAKE SURE THAT ALL THE CIRCUITS IN MAINTENANCE ARE ISOLATED
BEFORE YOU SUPPLY ELECTRICAL POWER TO THE AIRCRAFT.
