Assignment – Public places in the city!

Hello! Now it's time for you to do the Task for this week. I invite you to check the
instructions below. Consider that if you need to review a topic, you can always go
back as many times as you need. Remember that you have to present this
homework during week 7.

1. Learning Outcome

Through this activity, students write a text describing a city and public places in
it using the grammar and vocabulary learned in Weeks 6 and 7.

2. Description

 Step 1: Collaborative work (get into pairs).

 Step 2: Check this week’s study material and your sessions’ notes.

o Situation: Together, draw the map of a city with 5 public

places in it. Write a text describing the city and the location
of the 5 public places in it.

o Content:

Vocabulary and expressions from Unit 2 (Weeks 6-7).

Public places

Present simple

There is/ there are

Prepositions of place (on, at, behind, next to, opposite,

near, between)

And, then (coordinating conjuntions).

 Step 3: Write the text together with your partners(s).
 Step 4: Review the content, grammar, and the spelling of your text
together. Make sure your ideas are coherent. Present it on a single
Word sheet.

 Step 5: Once you check the text attach a cover to your writing and
upload it to the virtual platform. Write your names and last names on
the cover. Include your photos:
