1. Natural Language Processing (NLP)

Natural language processing (NLP) is a branch of computer science, specifically a subset
of artificial intelligence (AI), that aims to enable computers to learn written and spoken
language in the same way that humans do.
NLP combines computational linguistics (rule-based representation of human language)
with statistical, machine learning, and deep learning approaches. These integrated
technologies enable computers to handle human language in text or speech format and grasp
its full meaning, including the speaker's or writer's purpose and emotions.
Examples of NLP:

SMART SEARCH LANGUAGE

EMAIL FILTERS DATA ANALYSIS
ASSISTANTS RESULTS TRANSLATION

2. Computer Vision
Computer vision is a subfield of artificial intelligence (AI) that allows computers and
systems to extract useful information from digital photos, movies, and other visual inputs.
Based on the information gathered, these systems can then conduct activities or make
recommendations.
Computer vision works similarly to human vision, although humans have an advantage
due to their head start. Years of context help human vision learn how to discern objects,
judge their distance, detect motion, and spot problems within a picture.
Examples of Computer Vision:

IMAGE CONTENT-BASED
OBJECT DETECTION OBJECT TRACKING
CLASSIFICATION IMAGE RETRIEVAL
3. Deep Learning
Deep learning is a machine learning technique that enables computers to learn abilities
through imitation, similar to how people learn naturally. It is critical in the technology used
in self-driving cars, allowing them to recognize a stop sign or distinguish between a
pedestrian and a lamppost.
Examples of Deep Learning:

AUTOMATED AEROSPACE AND MEDICAL INDUSTRIAL

ELECTRONICS
DRIVING DEFENSE RESEARCH AUTOMATION

4. Reinforcement Learning
Reinforcement learning focuses on a digital agent that is placed in a certain environment
for the aim of learning. This agent, like our own learning process, confronts a game-like
environment and must make a series of decisions to reach the intended conclusion.
Examples of Reinforcement Learning:

AUTOMATED AEROSPACE AND MEDICAL INDUSTRIAL

ELECTRONICS
DRIVING DEFENSE RESEARCH AUTOMATION

5. Generative Adversarial Networks (GANs)

A generative adversarial network (GAN) is a machine learning model in which two
neural networks compete using deep learning approaches to improve the accuracy of their
predictions.
Examples of Generative Adversarial Networks:

DEVELOPING CREATING VIDEO GAME GENERATING

GENERATING
NEW FASHION REALISTIC CHARACTER REALISTIC 3D
HUMAN FACES
DESIGNS ANIMAL IMAGES CREATION OBJECTS
6. Explainable AI (XAI)
Explainable artificial intelligence (XAI) is a set of ideas and strategies that allow human
users to understand and trust the results and outputs created by machine learning algorithms.
Explainable AI is used to explain an AI model, its expected outcomes, and potential biases.
Examples of Explainable AI:

FRAUD AUTONOMOUS LOAN

HEALTHCARE DEFENSE
DETECTION VEHICLES APPROVALS

7. Autonomous Robotics
Autonomous robots operate without the need for human intervention. These robots are
typically designed for jobs in uncontrolled conditions where human supervision is not
required. They are distinguished by their ability to perceive their environment using sensors
and rely on decision-making frameworks, frequently driven by computers, to make the best
possible next action based on the data they acquire and their purpose.
Examples of Autonomous Robotics:

ROBOTIC VACUUM AUTONOMOUS MEDICAL ASSISTANT

HOSPITALITY BOTS
CLEANER DRONES BOTS

8. Ethics in AI
Ethics is a set of moral ideas that help people discriminate between what is right and
wrong. AI ethics, on the other hand, is a multidisciplinary field that investigates how to
maximize the good effects of artificial intelligence while reducing potential risks and
unintended consequences.
Examples of Ethics in AI:

ACCOUNTABILITY RELIABILITY SECURITY PRIVACY

9. Quantum Computing for AI
Quantum computing is a technology based on quantum mechanics concepts. In contrast
to traditional bits, which can only have a value of 0 or 1, quantum computers use qubits,
which can be both 0 and 1 at the same time. In practice, this allows them to perform far
more complex computations than ordinary computers or supercomputers.
Examples of Ethics in AI:

GOOGLE QUANTUM
SANDBOX AQ XANADU QULABS
AI

10. Edge Computing for AI

Edge AI is an application of artificial intelligence inside an edge computing environment.
This means that AI calculations take place at the edge of a network, often on the device from
which data is generated, such as a camera or a car, rather than in a centralized cloud
computing facility or an external data center.
Examples of Edge Computing in AI:

HEALTH EDGE AI
SELF-DRIVING SECURITY
MONITORING SMART HOMES IMPLEMENTATI
CARS CAMERAS
DEVICES ON SOFTWARE
