ACCOMPLISHMENT REPORT IN MATHEMATICS
S.Y 2022-2023
I. INTRODUCTION

Mathematics is one of the difficult subjects for junior high school students to
grasp. The abstract nature of the concept often makes it challenging to explain to
young learners. Teaching junior high Mathematics is much easier with the help of a
variety of teaching tools that help make mathematical concepts more concrete and
demonstrate to students how they will use math in their everyday lives.
Hence, the teaching personnel in Math subject of Justimbaste Remandaban
National High School is committed to provide quality Mathematical instruction to their
clienteles and to perform what is duly stated in the mandate of the Department of
Education regarding the teaching of K to12 Mathematics in the Junior High School
setting while being guided by the Department’s Vision, Mission and Core Values.
This report is a comprehensive summary of the activities and accomplishments
of the Mathematics Department of Justimbaste Remandaban National High School for
School Year 2022-2023.

II. OBJECTIVES

1. To enumerate the different activities done by the teacher and students.

2. To enhance students’ performance
3. To report all the accomplishment

III. HIGHLIGHTS OF ACCOMPLISHMENT:

1. Mathematics teachers conducted diagnostic test to their respective handled

classes.
2. Conducted and Administered Periodical Test/Quarterly Examinations every
quarter.
3. Attended LAC session per quarter or as need arises on the following topics:
a. GIYA Teachers (Guide for Instructions Yielding Archetype Teachers)
b. Crafting of Lesson Plan with CSE and GAD Integration
c. Utilizing Mobile Application (EVAL BEE) as an assessment tool
d. Multi-Year Guidelines on the RPMS-PPST cum coaching and technical
assistance on lesson plan preparation for Classroom Observation
e. Crafting an intervention program – the face-to-face and one-on-one
remedial sessions to identified non-numerates learners/students and
the schedule in the conduct of the said intervention.
4. All Mathematics teachers attended the Three-Day Live-In Training for Grade
7 and 8 Teachers on national Learning Camp (NLC) held on July 29-31,
2023 at Milka Hotel, Tacloban City
5. Attended IN-SET Training on Multi-Year Guidelines on the RPMS-PPST cum
coaching and technical assistance on lesson plan preparation for Classroom
Observation held at JRNHS on March 17-19, 2023.
6. Conducted Pre and Post Numeracy test among grade 7-10 students of
Justimbaste Remandaban National high School to identify non-numerates
learners.
7. Conducted mathematics intervention program – the face-to-face and one-on-
one remedial session to identified non-numerates learners.

8. Make instructional Materials like Flashcard, chart, activity sheets and power
point presentations.

IV. RECOMMENDATIONS

To deal with mathematical problem is one of the difficulties of our learners. And
it is reflected in their quarterly examinations, NAT and other performance assessment.
Teacher provides a better knowledge and skills in teaching so learners could
appreciate this subject. However, learners achieved a low performance result and
became a perception of not mastered lesson blaming on part of everyone concerned.
But as we say, we have to continue to strive for excellence by providing more exercises
and practice to raise score in the different test/assessments.
