FEASIBILITY STUDY FOR POULTRY PRODUCTS BUSINESS

Abstract:
The purpose of this study is to determine the feasibility of opening a Poultry
Product Business supplying chicken meat and eggs mainly in Malaybalay,
Bukidnon. Poultry provides companionship to humans, serves as a source of food
in the form of eggs and meat. The main purpose of opening this business is to
provide fresh chicken meat, bi-product of chicken and eggs to the community.
This feasibility study offers a conducted research regarding the market area,
surveys about the site, observations on the competitors, and a review of the
financial analysis.

Chapter I
Poultry provides companionship to humans, serves as a source of food in the form
of eggs and meat. This business is to produce as much meat, and as many eggs as
possible, as quickly as possible. Our vision is to provide efficiency, meeting
demand for poultry products, and supporting economic growth.
Besides being rich in protein, poultry meat is a good source of phosphorus and
other minerals, and of B-complex vitamins. It contains less fat than most cuts of
beef and pork. Poultry meat is low in harmful trans fats, but high in beneficial
monounsaturated fats. This business aims to supply chicken in Malaybalay
entrepreneurs and , as we can see people here are fond of eating lechon manok,
fried chicken, alacarte, and households. Thus, this has become one of their main
source of income. As well as the eggs, for it is a crucial component in a wide array
of food preparation techniques, contributing significantly to the texture, flavour,
nutrition, and appearance of food products. We can supply eggs to the market,
bakeshops, eateries, and retailers.

This will not be a one-time transaction as we aim to supply mainly to the market
and households of Malaybalay.
1.) 50% wholesale distribution: efficient distribution; less profit (10%-15%).
