Dear Parent,
Greetings from Edify World School!

The virtual academic journey of 2021-22 is nearing to complete and we are glad
to see our students transforming themselves into “EDIFIANS”. In order to close
the session with a positive feel and get an in depth understanding of your child’s
overall improvement in academics, we are conducting a VIRTUAL Learning
exhibition of our students.
In a nut shell, LSD (Learner Synopsis Day) is a platform for students to actively
engage themselves in their school culture and growth. LSD is similar to Parent
Teacher Conference, where student plays an important role and is in charge of
the discussion. Teachers facilitates the discussion, students present their works,
understanding and learning of entire academic year.
The role of parent is to listen and speak with their child about the academic
growth.
We are sharing Rubric/ Overall Feedback Form with you on mail so that you
can assess and give your valuable feedback which will help us grade the child
for his/her presentation.
The benefits or positive points of Learner Synopsis Day:
• As a parent, you will be seeing your increased involvement in your
child’s learning process
• LSD boosts students’ confidence and engagement.
• Teachers and school will get more information about children, in terms of
their learning capabilities, areas of interest etc.

Please save your date and time to attend your child’s culmination day i.e.,
“Learner Synopsis Day” on February 26, 2022- Saturday from 9.00
am to 1.30 pm (as per slots given below).

Learner Synopsis Day 2021-22

Important guidelines to parents:
• All the students must be present/log in into the google meet link on time.
• Please ensure that the student is dressed properly and in standing posture
while presenting.
• While taking a video or pictures, ensure that the background is properly
done and visible.
• All the students must be present for the LSD.
• You will have to download the rubric and keep it ready as this document
will be going to the child’s Assessment profile. However, the picture of
the same can be shared through WhatsApp to class teacher as soon as the
conference ends.
