INSTRUCTIONS SHEET

Read ALL Instructions carefully.

1. Write your name, candidate number, school name, and school code on the front cover

of your folder.

2. This project is MANDATORY. All Learners MUST complete this project.

3. Each student must have a copy of the Project question and mark scheme.

4. Projects and mark schemes must be discussed with Learners before planning.

5. This project MUST be presented in the form of a VIDEO.

6. A folder with the required information on the project must be submitted to the subject

teacher at least ONE week before the practice is conducted.

- Pictures of the simulated room

- sample of the letter of correspondence for the expected visitor

7. Project Folders must be available to the External Verifier.

8. A Recorded video of the Roleplay MUST be submitted as evidence.

PROJECT ONE

In Groups of Four (4), students are required to have the following persons:

- Supervisor

- Receptionist

- Expected Visitor

- Unexpected visitor

You are required to prepare a fifteen (15) minutes ROLE PLAY in a simulated Office setting to

address the following issues:

1. Safety measures must be observed in an office.

2. How you welcome visitors to the office:

a) Unexpected Visitor

1. How information is communicated to the unexpected visitor

2. How an appointment is made for the unexpected visitor

3. The unexpected visitor shares a confidential piece of information with you.

- Demonstrate how to handle the information that was shared.

- How was the information dealt with?

b) Expected visitor.

1. Prepare a correspondence addressing the request made by the expected visitor.


PROJECT TWO

In Groups of Four (4), students are required to have the following persons:

- Supervisor

- Mail Clerk

- Safety Officer

- Typist Clerk

You are required to prepare a fifteen (15) minutes ROLE PLAY in a simulated Office setting to

address the following issues:
