RECOGNITION PROGRAM

INTRODUCTION
A pleasant morning to all esteemed guests, teaching and non-teaching personnel, proud parents and to the learners
who rose up with distinction to the challenges of the recently concluded school year. Today, we shall recognize not
just their efforts but also celebrate their present and future successes. We shall also appreciate their courage, or
kired – a trait most associated to us Ilokano people, as they successfully faced the hurdles and opportunities
provided by our nation’s basic education program.

Ladies and gentlemen, guests, educators, parents and dear learners – welcome to Vigan National High School West

AWARDING OF MEDALS AND CERTIFICATES
Thank you so much Sir for that warm welcome. Let us now proceed to the awarding of Medals and Certificates to the
deserving students for this school year 2023-2024. The policy guidelines set by the Department of Education
highlights that ‘these awards have been designed to formally recognize the outstanding performance and
achievement of learners in academics, leadership, social responsibility among other aspects of student progress and
development. These awards are given to encourage learners to strive for excellence and to become proactive
members of the school and community.’

May we we call on Mrs. Jennifer Agcamaran and Mrs. Glenda Ricolcol, together with the awards committee for the
awarding of medals and certificates to Grade 7 students.
