1. INTORUCTION :
Mark Maker Pharma Engineering established in 2010 by Young and Versatile team of
engineers headed by Mr. Vinayakk Jagdish Adke with the aim to manufacture Pharmaceutical

A.1 Construction Constructed entirely from SS 316 and complying with GMP
guidelines, the coating zone consists of Coating Pan, Pan
Drive, Baffles and Lamp. The coating pan is enclosed
within the cubicle shaped double walled leak proof
enclosure provided with food grade rubber seals resulting
in perfectly insulated doors. The doors provide easy access
to all the parts requiring observation, inspection and
maintenance.
A.2 Coating Pan It is a horizontally placed, cylindrical pan of 1525 mm
diameter having Torrispherical dished ends welded on
both sides of the cylindrical perforated pan. The shell body
is perforated with triangular pitch of 3.2mm Dia Hole for
tablet Coating Purpose to ensure optimum hot air entry
and subsequent circulation. The pan mouth faces the
operator for easy loading and unloading of tablets.
A.3 Pan Drive The pan is driven by 5 HP motor through suitable reduction
gearbox. The different operating speeds are obtained using
a Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) capable of achieving
speeds from 2 - 12 RPM.
A.4 Baffles Specially designed baffles with a unique contour inside the
coating Pan, generate a highly smooth tumbling rotation of
the product being coated, thus resulting in excellent and
smooth coating
A.5 Lamp A flameproof electric lamp is fitted on the inside top of the
enclosure to give sufficient light for observation of the
working zone.

B Coating Solution Assembly


This consists of solution storage Vessel, Peristaltic dosing Pump and Spray Guns that are
the life line of the equipment (Optional but costs included).
B.1 Solution Storage Vessel This vertically placed storage tank of 150 liter capacity is
cylindrical in shape with dished end bottom for easy
cleaning. It has a detachable type flat top cover with entry
point at the top for refilling of coating solution. It also
houses a Pneumatic motor driven agitator in the center for
maintaining the uniform consistency of the solution
throughout the operation.
B.2 Peristaltic Pump The Electrolab make 5 Headed Peristaltic pump is provided
for precise and rapid priming facility and accurate dosing
of solution through solution transfer tubes.
B.3 Spray Gun The spraying unit consists of 5 Nos. highly efficient non-
choking, Spray Tech Indian make Spraying Guns mounted
on stainless Steel retractable header. The guns spray

controlled quantity of uniform droplets in the coating zone.


The spraying cone can be adjusted by changing the angle
and distance between the guns and the bed of the coating
pan. The guns are mounted on SS retractable header with
adjustable angle arrangement between gun and tablet bed.
After operation, the retractable header can be pulled out
and even rotated by 90o for easy cleaning / washing.

C Air Preparation Unit Blowers and Air filters with heating elements are housed
separately in the service zone to avoid sound pollution and
to prevent entry of the maintenance people in the
production zone.
C.1 Inlet Air Filters The section has a 10 micron pre-filter before the blower.
C.2 Inlet & Exhaust Blower MS blower fan has backward curved blades and is
dynamically balanced. The speeds of both inlet and exhaust
blowers are varied by positional controller through PLC.
C.3 Steam Coil The required amount of heat is provided using a finned
steam heating coil complete with steam inlet and
condensate outlet connections. The steam flow is controlled
by a pneumatically actuated PID control valve at the inlet.
The heater works in combination with pneumatically
actuated damper and a bypass system to control the air
temperature ± 2 °C
C.4 Fine Filter The AHU has a specially designed single material
construction. The air is fed from fine filter to HEPA through
a 24 SWG GI cross section and then from HEPA to air outlet
through PUF insulated SS 304 cross section.
C.5 HEPA Filter Differential pressure testing port is provided to check the
choking of HEPA Filter.
C.6 Power Panel The entire operation of the Auto Coater is controlled
through a powder coated MS made Power Panel that is
ideally placed in service zone and houses PLC, MCB’s,
RCCB’s, contactors, relays, ON-OFF switches etc. Proper
ferruling is provided for the wirings. Power panel also
includes pressure switch, solenoids valves for control
devices.
C.7 PLC Based Automation & The PLC is energized through the power panel and has its
Control own integrated control panel and a touch screen Man
Machine Interface in the SS 304 housing. The following
parameters are controlled:-

D WIP SYSTEM The Auto Coater is equipped with completely automated
WIP system. After the coating process is completed, the
washing can be switched on. The system provides highly
effective water spray nozzles that spray water under
pressure on the rotating pan. The used water drained from
bottom plenum and hot air can be circulated for quick
drying of the pan. The required pump for this can be
ordered as an optional item on demand.

G WET SCRUBBER The system comprises a MS Vertical, cylinder having


welded Torrispherical dished end on top and bottom
mounted on MS skirt support complete with water spraying
arrangement, inside venture type perforated plate for
packed bed, inlet connection, effluent drain, vent and other
necessary fittings.

PROCESSING UNIT
Coating Pan
Construction Constructed entirely from SS 316 and complying with GMP
guidelines, the coating zone consists of Coating Pan, Pan Drive,
Baffles and Lamp. The coating pan is enclosed within the cubicle
shaped double walled leak proof enclosure provided with food
grade rubber seals resulting in perfectly insulated doors. The doors
provide easy access to all the parts requiring observation,
inspection and maintenance.
Coating Pan It is a horizontally placed, cylindrical pan of 24” diameter having
Torrispherical dished ends welded on both sides of the cylindrical
perforated pan. The shell body is perforated with triangular pitch
to ensure optimum hot air entry and subsequent circulation. The
pan mouth faces the operator for easy loading and unloading of
tablets.
Pan Drive The pan is driven by 1 HP NON Flame proof motor through
suitable reduction gearbox. The different operating speeds are
obtained using a Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) capable of
achieving speeds from 2 - 10 RPM.
Baffles Specially designed baffles with a unique contour inside the coating
Pan, generate a highly smooth tumbling rotation of the product
being coated, thus resulting in excellent and smooth coating
Lamp A NON flameproof electric lamp is fitted on the inside top of the
enclosure to give sufficient light for observation of the working
zone.

Coating Solution Assembly


This consists of solution Peristaltic dosing Pump and Spray Guns that are the life line of the
equipment (Optional but costs included).

precise and rapid priming facility and accurate dosing of solution

header. The guns spray controlled quantity of uniform droplets in


the coating zone. The spraying cone can be adjusted by changing
the angle and distance between the guns and the bed of the coating
pan. The guns are mounted on SS retractable header with
adjustable angle arrangement between gun and tablet bed. After
operation, the retractable header can be pulled out and even rotated
by 90o for easy cleaning / washing.
Air Preparation Unit Blowers and Air filters with heating elements are housed
separately in the service zone to avoid sound pollution and to
prevent entry of the maintenance people in the production zone.
Inlet Air Filters The section has a 10 micron pre-filter before the blower.
Inlet & Exhaust Blower SS 304 blower fan has backward curved blades and is dynamically
balanced. The speeds of both inlet and exhaust blowers are varied
by positional controller through PLC.
Heating Coil The required amount of heat is provided using a finned Electric
heating coil . The heater works in combination with contactor
system to control the air temperature ± 3 °C
Fine Filter The AHU has a specially designed single material construction. The
air is fed from pre filter to HEPA through a 14 SWG GI cross section
and then from HEPA to air outlet through PUF insulated SS 304
cross section.
HEPA Filter Differential pressure testing port is provided to check the choking
of HEPA Filter.
Air Control The inlet and outlet of the Auto Coater shall be provided with
(through VFD)by which quantum of air at inlet and outlet can be
controlled whenever required, from the control panel.
Power Panel The entire operation of the Auto Coater is controlled through a
powder coated MS made Power Panel that is ideally placed in
service zone and houses PLC, MCB’s, RCCB’s, contactors, relays,
ON-OFF switches etc. Proper ferruling is provided for the wirings.
Power panel also includes pressure switch, solenoids valves for
control devices.
PLC Based Automation & The PLC is energized through the power panel and has its own
Control integrated control panel and a touch screen Man Machine
Interface in the SS 304 housing. The following parameters are
controlled:-
1. Automatically controlled process parameters with indication
and display such as:
- Inlet / Outlet Air Temperature
- BED / cabinet temperature
- Pan RPM
- Spray on time
- Product wise parameter / programming memory

6. TERMS AND CONDITIONS

i. Prices: Ex-Works Vasai, Export worthy Packing Charges will be 5% of the order value
ii. Taxes/Levies: GST will be charged extra to your account at the rates prevailing at the time of
dispatch.

iii. Insurance: In Buyer’s Scope
iv. Terms of Payment: 40% advance through TT along with the Purchase Order. Balance TT against
Performa Invoice before dispatch, on realization of amount in account.
v. Delivery: 12-16 weeks from the date of acceptance of Buyer’s firm order, Receipt of Advance &
Approved DQ (Design Qualification), whichever is later and subject to factors beyond our control
and force majeure conditions. Delivery may delay for any changes given apart from finalized DQ.
vi. Force majeure: We will not be responsible for any delay occurring due to any acts of God or man
such as floods, earthquake, lockout, strikes political unrest’s, wars, non-availability of material,
shipping /transport facilities.
vii. Trial Material: Trial material as per quantity asked for should be provided to us free of cost for
conducting in house trials at our works. The material should be delivered to our works at Vasai
freight fully paid.
viii. Inspection: As soon as the machine is ready, Buyer can depute their technical personnel for
inspection of the machine at our factory, at their cost and expense. For all modifications (exclusive
of approved DQ) Buyer will have to bear the charges.
ix. Training of Your Technical Personnel: We will be pleased to train your Technicians or Service
Engineer
(2 People) on the working, lubrication and maintenance of our machines, free of cost at our factory
in Vasai, Maharashtra. Boarding, lodging charges & traveling to and Fro will be in Buyer’s scope.
x. Erection / Installation / Commissioning & Servicing: Erection will be done by the buyer as per the
IQ (Installation Qualification) provided. We will be providing Installation Requisition, after receipt
of Installation Requisition – signed and stamped, MMPE (seller) will depute service engineer for
Installation & Commissioning free of cost for one visit only which will include complete trials shown
to you, provided all utilities and required material is provided. Two Service Engineer from our side
will be deputed for installation. All to and Fro charges lodging and boarding in a 3-star hotel, food
and traveling charges have to be borne by Buyer. He will be deputed for installation for Maximum

64 Man-Hours. Before our Service Engineer reaches at your destination, all utilities and trial
material/packaging material or any other pre-requisites should be ready. Any additional Day of our
service engineer will cost Service charge of USD $300/- per person. For all further service visits,
service charges will be charged USD $300/- Per day per person. All to and Fro charges, lodging and
boarding in a 2/3-star hotel, food and traveling charges have to be borne by Buyer, for all further
services required. For any delay in Installation due Site/Utility being not ready or for any reason,
balance payment if any, should not be delayed. Any Erection / Installation / Commissioning &
Servicing have to be informed 15 working days in advance.
xi. Warrantee: One year from date of our bill against any mechanical manufacturing defects. We assure
the buyer for our quality products, but due to continuous wear and tear, Items like rubber
components, conveyor belts, bearings, gaskets, will not come under the purview of warrantee.
Electronic/Electrical Components etc. will not come under the purview of warrantee, even though
we purchase the material from reputed manufacturers. However, if we get any warrantee from the
suppliers the same will be passed on to you.
xii. Demurrage: If the buyer is unable to take delivery of the machine, due to any reason, within the
agreed delivery period; demurrage @ 2% of the order value per week will be paid by the buyer.
xiii. Validity: 30 days from the date of Quotation and is subject to confirmation after that.
xiv. Cancellation: Once we confirm the order, we will take up the manufacture of the machine
immediately in hand. Hence, we cannot accept any cancellation of order and thus we cannot refund
your advance amount back to you.
xv. Jurisdiction: If any dispute arises out of our supplies to you, the courts situated in Mumbai are the
final authority.
xvi. The placing of an order with us implies acceptance of the conditions of sale here in stated regardless
of any constricting clauses in the Buyers purchase order.
